Marshall and Ioane having words, then Bower and Marshall. Clarke casually moving Marshall along like he’s done that before. Marshall looks smashed. Not much to see really.
Was trying to work out who is standing in front of Ioane.
Looks like one of the props in a white/cream long sleeve

With all due respect, practically all rugby fans are hypocrites. Only last week some guys were on here were giving out about Irelands use of the screen and dummy runners, tactics the ABs have used brilliantly for years. I’m fairly sure that those same posters weren’t ranting then about the ABs cheating.
Most of my rugby mates felt the Ta’avu red was harsh, and were delighted but a bit surprised that Porter didn’t get a red. I’m also surprised the disciplinary panel took the line they did, if only because it doesn’t make for great optics. I would be livid if the shoe was on the other foot, especially if we had lost, but to be honest we all remember the ones where we’ve been on the wrong end of a decision but quickly forget when we’ve got away with one.
There's a difference between whinging about borderline legal play like screening or not entering the breakdown through the gate or not clearly releasing the tackled player before latching onto the ball for a turnover (which are all fair play if you can get away with it)
and whinging about referees and citing committees being inconsistent with red cards. I've seen too many posts in the last couple of days from various nationalities saying that the ABs deserve their cards purely for their history of thuggery. So it doesn't matter whether an AB gets a harsh red, it is entirely warranted because the ABs cheat and are dirty and that's the reason why they are as successful as they are....Yadda Yadda Yadda.
I am intrigued to know if these posters would have been so quick to argue in Porter's defence if it wasn't the ABs that were on the receiving end of the non-decision. Say, if it were Italy. Is there cognitive bias at play?
History of thuggery of course, it must be payback for nearly killing O’Driscoll all those years ago. Trying to think of who was the last All Black thug who got cited for eye gouging or biting or testicle grabbing or whatever
A shoulder to the orbital is far more thuggish and damage inflicting than a balls grab
Indeed it is. Glad you agree Aki nd Porter should have got carded and multiple weeks.
Have from the start
I’m not card shy

@Bones it's on Reddit so I see no issue sharing it here.
Thanks @Smudge
Must be my GOMness but I can make out nothing if either who any of those people were or what they were saying...
Looks to me like Bower approaching Marshall, then Clarke stepping in between and seemingly pointing Marshall to the door. I don't really see/hear anything angry. I definitely don't know how it's not a good look - unless we're talking about Marshall being so pissed he walks like that alien guy on MIB.
Ah OK so there are ABs there. Obvs todays ABs are a bunch of fluffybunnies as they are singing happily after the worst AB performance in a century. And they dont like it when someone points out how fucking shit they are and are happy to beat up some blond old git?
I don't see anyone beating anyone up, nor can I make out any words from anyone.
Looks like Akira Ioane getting aggressive in there too ?
Marshall looks hammered
Isn't he on the other side of the room?
Refer to my post.
Also it’s outside unless someone drove a minivan indoors
Could have been in the Hutt. But yeah I didn't look at the background properly. It's probably coming out of the bar rather than into it I see!

All I see is a wasted Marshall obviously being gobby and a sober Clarke moving him on while some other All Blacks are clearly unimpressed with whatever shitface Meg has been saying.
No punches, no issue.
Pretty sad seeing an old guy that drunk in a bar.
It’s ok at home though right ? RIGHT ?!?!?
Like Mrs Meldrew, I assume Mrs MN5 just shrugs her shoulders.

where is the IRB's video featuring that Welsh piston wristed gibbon to come on and tell everyone how fucking dumb Barnes was and how there should have been a red and a yellow.
Et voila

If current refs and recently retired "best ref in the game" can't agree on what should have happened when applying the same "easy to follow, logical" framework, surely someone needs to take another look before things get even more out of hand.

Interesting his take on Bower, whom many here thought he was one of the better AB players on Saturday.
-
@The-Irishman Mcleod's defence since 2017 shining again.....
-
@KiwiMurph yep, so many glaring examples of a disconnected, slow, passive defence in this series alone, let alone what he has 'achieved' in 5 years!
-
@The-Irishman i think a fair few on here have come around to bower
I think these videos are often fair in their actual points...just under a layer of bias jabs...to me it looks like Bowers "worst attempt at a cheap shot" is someone bailing on a fair tackle when they see the ball has already gone

At least nige is consistent in what he believes and doesn’t care what hemisphere they are from . So many people who have a voice these days you can’t say the same .

Not only is it quite ineffective. It also makes the AB's the most boring team in the world to watch for about 50% of a rugby match.

@Rapido not for opposition fans as they see thier team tearing our defence apart....
Bad defence makes for compelling viewing honestly!
-
@The-Irishman After about 5 minutes it's obvious that our defensive structure is terrible. Tactic of always having a loose forward on the sideline on attack has to be more flexible ... Papalii completely wasted out there.
Our front row is pretty awful on defence. Start Hodgman and Taukei'aho immediately.

and all we do is crowd space for our outsides!!
watch Ireland, they often attack with 1 player in the open 3rd of the field. Their tight formation allows them to pick us apart with short passes if we spread our players, or sweep out wide if we compress.
Our formation has only one way of attacking.

@The-Irishman That last one is interesting, because I'd had a good look at that after several suggestions that it was Jordan who got caught.
Bower does actually get across to Hansen and in fact grabs his arm as he runs through, so it's a moot point if he would have made the tackle.
However, Rieko's not convinced he's going to so he marks on Hansen, which requires Jordan to mark up on Keenan.
Great vision and long pass by Hansen to Lowe, who has too much space for Jordan to drift. And then another pinpoint infield pass and the try.
Largely, I'd give credit to Ireland's excellent work - arguably Bower could/should have gone a pace wider, but you're asking a lot of a prop to read the play and recognize he's going to have a wing running at him..
