Has to be coaches that the players respect through previous records. Really not sure who.
Might be some pissed off Super franchises as well -
@ACT-Crusader yeah I can see why he may be reluctant to take over if the opportunity presents itself in the very near future...
RWC inside a year, from what I understand about Razor is alot of his success is built on his planning and those around him, which also may be key to any decision he makes.
Then you gotta ask, let's say he gets his way, would people be able to handle if he bought O'Gara in?

I read somewhere over the weekend that Foster is seen as too much of a Good Cop within the setup. As much as I've gnashed my teeth about his selections and tactics since forever, one thing that has stood out is that I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him as a person.
Though this is a job for top performance as well, not solely for being a top bloke.

No problem. Anyone who has a problem can piss right off

Much easier than if he brought in Whinge Gatland...

The All Blacks should be viewed by every aspiring coach around the world as a "must get this on my CV". We should be agnostic as long as they're the best.

@canefan I'm just thinking back to Dean's to Aus, the Rennie, always some comments floating about not wanting a foreign coach.
He'll be an assistant. Besides, where we are now I just want to see us back to something resembling ourselves

God, I'd forgotten Vodanovich. Made Foster look like a genius.

I can't see how Roberston could take over, to be honest. Two weeks before going to the republic? His support team is non-existent. Who picks the squad which is named in a few days? Crusader's contract? Young family ready for the pressure? (His wife would have something to say after all the criticism of Foster). Wishful thinking it seems. BUT I will still wake up each morning this week, look at my phone, and hope the message is there.

Who is Alex McDonald ?
I bet he got some nasty letters in the mail that took days to arrive.

She would also have friends whose husbands are constantly bickering at their wives to find out from Robertson's wife why the fuck he isn't coaching the ABs. Right?
