@Kirwan has JB...empty cupboard was what I was leaning at....stay safe Rieko.
Jordie played centre for both Canterbury and has for the Canes
Touchwood but Ioane is pretty durable so I don’t think we are replacing him unless we are well and truly up (als Test 1). And congrats to the young fella for racking up 50 tests.

Cue post match interview with Ardie: "I didn't know Ireland had never won a series in New Zealand..."
-
For all the talk about New Zealand fans are very knowledgeable, I just checked out the comments section on Facebook.

so, yep, change at tighthead absolutely called for.
No change at hooker bar getting rid of our best one is, interesting (again i assume he's hurt or sick)
Whitelock in a no brainer
The like SB at 6 so him going back there a no brainer
Savea is the best player in the world so him staying a no brainer
It was obvious to everyone that the reason we lost was QT played fucking shit so getting DH back in a no brainer
Jordan had to play, no brainer.Bench picks itself given the above selections, except RTS which is, interesting to say the least
we are nothing if not predictable.

We are tied in a test series and 4th on the rankings in world rugby, and while being a bit disppointed, not as disappointed as maybe the reaction on forums by so called AB supporters, there seems almost no credit given to Ireland for winning 2nd test, only tearing clothes and screaming about how poor ABs were, want to know something Irish were bloody good and made us look poor, and we 4th on rankings, prehaps French (in my opinion clearly best team), Ireland , and Boks (though I feel some of theirs is residual points from year off) just deserve to be in the positions they are in.
I think the issue is not the losses so much, it's the manner of the losses/performances.
If you look at things the ABs can control, things like their attacking shape, their defensive system, their kicking game, there are real problems there - the same problems that came up last year.
There's almost no sign of progress or change being made with the ABs.
Despite 12 months of superior form from Samisoni the likes of Codie Taylor are nailed on starters etc.
Yep and that is more a sensible post, and not against them mate, just the rantings of many on here, and not looking at other good teams. , and their strengths. Irish are I still say a bloody good rugby team, and do think the NH do tend to be able to change game plans better than us, , and I think is helped by their club and 6N comps wheer they play such a variety of teams and styles week in and out. I also think we seeing the loss of SA from super starting to show.

Why start Nepo? It's not like our scrum creaks against Ireland with that second row pushing. And Nepo offers less than nothing around the ground.
Hooker with the most impact can't get into the 23.
Most ineffective blindside flanker to start.
Greatest second half impact backrower starts.
Sotutu must have a broken leg.
At least Havili is there to straighten the line...

I agree with Havili as he offers us versatily at 12 that perhaps Tupaea doesn't offer (and I a Tupaea fan), I too wonder if ST is injured or something(or is it scrumming?), though maybe we mssied something. I a little surprised that RTS is ahead of Goodhue in reserves, but again not sure how he has recovered from covid, some take a bit of getting over it.

I wonder if Samisoni is injured.
That can be the only reason he isn't in the 23, or rightfully starting. Otherwise - WTF!!!

I really like the RTS call. It’s a big game and he won’t be overawed. He has a bit of class to him but is a hard worker on both sides of the ball.
ABs by 8 and Coles to score the game sealing try.

The cards had a huge impact. A poor All Blacks side that played a bit shit tired them out and won by 23 in the first Test
Keep 15 on the field and keep the game moving
Agree.
Death, taxes, there will be cards this test…

I am happy that Ofa has paid for his terrible performance. It goes without saying that it would be much better if we had a better alternative than Nepo.

@ACT-Crusader at least they will give us something to chat/moan about next week...

If you watched the Warriors games you will see that Roger often made mistakes - and got pushed off in tackles. He has been the same with the Blues. So great attacking but has some issues. In such a big game it’s a big call.
