So your starter for ten is that Sexton didn't fall his HIA and is likely to be available. 🤔

Ireland suggest Johnny Sexton didn't fail HIA

Johnny Sexton could yet make the second Test against the All Blacks after Ireland head coach Andy Farrell revealed that the Leinster...

Don't see many un-forced changes from the starting XV. Perhaps Akira or DP for SB and Jordan for LF.

Think we'll see some changes in 16-23. Tupae Va'ii to give him some game-time and Fakatava for Christie. Be some changes in the Fatties too, probably

@Victor-Meldrew you'd think maybe some tuning on the.bench, maybe start ST, Coles comes into bench, slide SB into lock and maybe AI to 6 or maybe bring Sotutu in.

Ennor will possibly be gone, likely for Havili due to his versatility.

    @Victor-Meldrew
I felt Ireland gained too many metres in contact once our bench came on. Increased drive in defence needed in my view. So hope to see Fakatava and Ross come onto bench, Jordan in for LF, hookers swapped and Akira or Sotutu for PGS.

I wouldn’t tinker with the starting XV too much other than Jordan for Fainga’anuku if he can train.

The SB excitement I thought worked in terms of physicality so I’d extend it but bring Akira on bench for PGS, Fakatava for Christie & Goodhue/Havili for Ennor.

    I'd start Paps(7) and Samisoni.

Simple plan for Saturday, smash 'em again.

I'd rest anyone a bit poorly and bashed up after Eden Park. But go again with most of the same time. Great to have the likes of Samsoni, Akira, Paps, Fakatava, Goodhue and Jordan if we need them

I want to see us more solid at the breakdown, we need to stop them interfering with our ruck ball.

I'd like to see us ramp up our defensive intensity, improve our line speed to slow their forward progress.

And I'd like to see us improve our general kicking game, and cut down errors in our own half

Jordan is out for Test 2 as well isn't he? At least that's what Cane suggested

If SB is cited and found guilty there will have to be at least one change to the starting XV.

In this interview Paul O'Connell says that Hooker Dave Heffernan is out this week with concussion. They will miss him, he was outstanding for them on Saturday.

Think you’re mixing up your hookers there. Sheehan was the starting hooker and he was very good.

I think same starting team will be named unless there is injury but bench will be a bit different. I think akira ioane will be on the bench if fit at least and can see fakatava also making the bench and probably tuivasa sheck instead of ennor

Yeah Sheehan was by far and away the best in green. Did you notice, along with all his tackles, and runs, that he was the one that brought down Reece over the try line - that's guts and speed for a hooker

@Billy-Tell Oh yeah Sheehan it was that I was thinking of. He was Irelands best player I thought. I'm glad that we'll get to see him again this week.

@Kiwiwomble yep. Such a low percentage play too. Still a dumb player at times.
