Hooper is a better player than he's ever been, game is so well rounded now.

Billy V yellow is bollocks, but probably goes some way towards justice.

Fuck yes you Qantas orange wallabies. Get fucked this cunting English side, I'd usually be supporting you but impossible right from the whistle. Eat some humble pie ya pricks.

Oh and I really don't understand sticking with Smith, let alone the hype around him. Long may him and the Vunipolas continue.

Pretty good! Screaming at lineouts, hooting at a minor scrum win, kneeing a guy on the ground, pulling hair. Pretty good to see it shoved down their throats.

@Bones Yeah, weird game. Memorable. Pleased the Shackle-daggers won - loads of gust and deserved to come out on top.

@Victor-Meldrew like I said I'd usually support England but their behaviour was pretty foul. I let it all out on here so that I don't get a glare from Bonesetta.

@Machpants Seriously, I really hate this sort of shit in Rugby. Criticise the Refs by all means, but do it in private and thru the right channels.

It's supposed to be a game between men, FFS, not whiny flufflybunnies.

This will be interesting has Australia really improved after better SR performances.
Or are England in the decline.

England are dreadful. How the hell do you lose that?

Thought this was a bit of a horror fest. Not a great game from Doleman. Should have carded Hill for the first incident right under his nose. He didn't and it went downhill from there.
I thought the telling point was the impact of the Aussie reserve forwards. Matt Phillip was just huge. Faingaa and Sio too.
Hill should sit out the rest of the tour alongside Swain. Cynical deliberate dirt...

Not sure what the game looked like on TV, but I watched it live and it was poor. Very one-dimensional from both teams really. Pretty drab and not a good advert for the game. I can't see SA or the ABs being troubled by either of these sides if they carry on playing like this.

I'm not sure what the stats were, but it seemed England had the majority of possession, at least in the first half and should have done better. They have the players, it might be time for a new coach?

Different opponents (and conditions) can result in different game outcomes.

In saying that, the Boks looked pretty dire for large parts of last nights game.

Game started off as a snore-fest and became a classic. Bloody well done Oz. Eddie has some serious thinking to do.

Gonna grab some popcorn and head over to social media to enjoy the reaction.

I really disagree this is a classic.

Well maybe not a classic in the sense of a great game with flowing rugby, But as an enthralling watch, particularly the second half, it was pretty damn good.

Whereas I see this as really poor rugby throughout. Yes there was heart, and if this was outer Mongolia versus Iraq, I think that's a great game. But for two supposed rugby tier 1s? Nope

I agree. As I said I watched it live and maybe it was better on TV, but live it was so poor. Two teams with very dull uninspiring gameplans. Forward hits it up in the 10/12 channel x2, switch direction, forward hits it up in the 10/12 channel then throw it wide with a decoy runner and repeat...constant box kicks and chase... Perhaps it's the rules that need changing. There seemed to be virtually no line breaks, no space and almost resembled a game of league.

I got back from the AB test in time to watch the 2nd half live. By the comments here sitting in a car was more fun than watching the 1st half. Both coaches will need to make some changes for test 2, and that might decide the outcome if they pick the right players (or not).
