Blues will be favourites and deservedly so but my money is on the Crusaders, they just know how to get the job done.

A bit like me with the missus. ๐Ÿ‘

Gotta admit it worries me slightly come the ABs how Barret will handle the suffocating Irish in regards to general play kicking. It was pretty sure in that second half.

Iโ€™m worried about our whole team against the Irish. Certainly not as confident as I normally would be.

It seems we are good with ball in hand going forward but our exits and tactical kicking seem to be our weakness.

    The Crusaders know how.

They know how to give the opposition the ball and practice D all night. I don't think the ABs will beat the Irish making 200+ tackles and next to no possession.

There is always a balance and you play to your strengths. They win. But Blues tactics appalling tonight given they were winning collisions and dominating rucks.

@kev totally agree, the blues looked awesome after the first try. No idea why they then put everything in the air and made numerous errors.

Akira didnโ€™t feature too much tonight, couple of good runs but would expect him to be on fire next weekend

Lolesio DG at the end was... Interesting option taking.

Good final next week. Shame about the forecast

They panicked and went too early
Had all of the momentum and should have tried a couple of more phases

There's going to be a lot of chat about that, but I guess you have to ask if you're supporting your bodyweight.

Ultimately could have gone either way, much like the maul try and several other calls in a game. You can't focus on that one bad call and say we were robbed.

Somebody needs to take a screenshot of that maul try and draw some red circles and post it on their forums.

Robinson always puts in 80 minutes of hard yakka. Thought Nepo, and Perofeta stamped their mark today. Wasn't on the Perofeta bandwagon but tonight he was really good. The ABs could use someone who has his positional kicking game in tight matches.

The Blues would also benefit from his positional kicking. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Heart stopping final few mins. Confusing maul laws. Perhaps last few mins of a semi not the time to try to be smart eh?

Should be a cracking final next week. Shame wonโ€™t be able to join in the match thread on TSF!

Poor discipline from the Blues in the end there but damn they have to look at that rolling maul bullshit.
