@MiketheSnow Its easily the biggest fight in the division.
Have to disagree on the size argument. Usyk showed enough to me against AJ that he's quick enough to combat the size aspect along with his ring IQ which is some of the best you'll see.
If Fury is to be considered an ATG, he has to beat Usyk imo. The way he speaks down about Usyk suggests to me that he himself knows how good he is deep down.

Defintiely agree that if he walks away now he tarnishes his legacy.

I’ve got no idea what would happen to be honest ,
What usyk did to AJ may not work the same on Tyson though, but we don’t know until it actually happens ,
And what fight plan does fury use , use reach advantage to keep him on the outside , or attempt to ,
Or go forward attempting to rag doll him with size advantage,
Usyk is crafty , good footwork should see him get into positions to land shots unlike the plodder Whyte , we may see fury get hit more than usual , how does he react to that ?

Yeah I wasn’t so much thinking knockouts but more potentially finding himself behind on the scorecards, I don’t believe he has ever been in a situation where he might be behind
You look at all the other fighters in the division and you think Tyson outpoints this guy , then you look at usyk and it’s, I’m not so sure

@KiwiMurph Yup the looping overhand right which he got knocked down by Pajkic earlier in his career as well. Having said that, he's improved massively since then and his far better defensively than he was 10 or so years ago.
Let's also not forget how badly he struggled against another southpaw Otto Wallin. Wallin is decent, but Usyk is leagues above him and will go down as an ATG. I still think Usyk does him imo.

im sitting on the fence on this one , with a slight lean towards Fury , just think he and sugar are such crafty bastards they might come up with a plan specifically for Usyk that breaks him down
But if Usyk pulled this off after being so dominant at cruiserweight , you could make a case he is the best p4p fighter in the world not just heavyweight , its interesting his name never comes up in those discussions

@kiwiinmelb Its because he's not from the Americas or the UK. Non English speaking European fighters always have a harder time getting exposure.

Definitely a fight I'd love to see. IMO Fury just too big, too long. I can see Fury pushing Usyk around and just leaning on him much like W. Klitchko used to do to smaller heavyweights. But Usyk is something else, would be an awesome fight.

But he'd need to unite the belts and retire undefeated to be considered beyond the best of his generation.

A few years back it was easy to look at even “lesser” heavyweights of the 70s as one example ( Earnie Shavers, George Chuvalo, Ken Norton, Ron Lyle etc ) and say they could beat him. It’s not as clear cut now.
His size, skills and toughness would give anyone from any era at the very least a run for their money.

That’s a big fight for Joseph when it comes to determining where his career is heading . Most see it as a 50 50 fight.
Joyce is a big big man , While he isn’t at that standard of George foreman , he does fight in a style that is very reminiscent of big george .

Big career move for Joseph basing himself in the uk now , he is living and breathing boxing surrounded by boxing people which he wouldn’t get in Nz , and he is proving to be quite popular there .
If he wins this he is knocking on the door of another title shot somewhere down the track . Winner gets the wbo number 1 ranking .

@kiwiinmelb Hes virtually George Foreman reincarnated. Massive volume puncher with a huge engine despite being very slow letting his hands go.
Parker must work the body imo, similar to what he did against Chisora, throw the uppercut to slow Joyce in his tracks. Joyce has an iron chin and will keep marching forward, but can be hurt to the body as Bryant Jennings showed which he struggled to recover from when the fought.
A real 50/50 this one but I feel Parker can win this one as much as I rate Joyce.
