Sure you can complain about some of the refs calls but the two cards are absolutely legitimate. These professional players need to be better than that.

I do wonder what coaches are doing. Everyone knows how it is being reffed. Don't lift players legs, don't tackle higher than nipples, or you risk getting carded. Lifting the legs is especially stupid.

Because you can't just coach instincts, or at least it is bloody difficult to do so. If you watched a game from 2000, there would be way more incidents we would now consider yellow/red cards. So there has been an impact, but standards have got higher and the players cannot adequately comply.

Hardout. You could strangle people in the 2000's.

I would love to see a graph of yellow and reds on average per season over Super Rugby. This year must be the highest ever.

If the other one was yellow, that should be red

@chimoaus i am almost at the stage where i dont give a toss about this level of the game or the international game ..i have friends who were hardcore lovers of the game , one is a former all black was coaching at club level only 4 seasons ago ..has not watched a game in a whole year ,.got other interests ..biggest fear the game should have is the next lot of people who have an actual passion for the game

It's very noticeable at the ground. Zero flow.

Lifting the legs is not instincts and should be coachable. Take your point about the high shots though, some are very hard to avoid especially when players go low into contact.

And the game is faster than ever. It's like the authorities have forgotten it is a high speed contact sport

    Clear decision.

Canes are doing well to be only 3 down I reckon.
