@MiketheSnow the end of the press conference was brilliant. Serious face off then Fury starts tickling White like a child.
-
Hmmmmm, I’ve gotta be honest. Tyson would be extremely high on the list of people I’d try not to piss off.
Also who can blame him, this guys face is amazingly punchable
-
i watched the longer version of that this morning
this guy got EXACTLY what he deserved. He was pissed, carried on like a fuckhead, was leaning over the top of Tyson carrying on over and over. Fucked around. Found out.
If there is a top 5 list of people i don't want to antagonise in to punching me in the head, Mike Tyson is like 3 of those guys

He’s lucky that it’s pretty hard to get any momentum into a punch when you’re kneeling on a seat.
Unfortunately it’s probably given this moron a bit of notoriety and a pub yarn to spin for the rest of his days.

It's the States. It'll get him a lot more than that. Millions more probably
and then, if i am Tyson, i am going after the airline. The video goes for a while, and at no point is there cabin crew coming to Tyson's aid. They have failed in their duty of care
Of a bigger concern to Tyson is, given the changes in laws around unruly behaviour on flights (anti mask piston wristed gibbons) if you are convicted of such behaviour, you're on the "no fly" list forever.

among a myriad of other reasons yes

If he does sue Tyson, pretty sure Tyson can take it to a jury in the civil trial. They would be sympathetic to him
Most likely a small token payout to the guy and no court action
Dunno, he is a convicted rapist after all and people have long memories.
The fact that he appears to be a completely different person nowadays won’t matter to some people.

The point is they guy would have to take a risk. He could win, be awarded $5, and still have to pay for his own lawyer
The incentive is to settle
Absolutely.
I’d support Mike but others wouldn’t. But it’s America so nothing would surprise me.

Fury wins in whatever fashion he wants. Whyte has no chin, clumsy footwork, a left hook that is over rated by many and not enough of an inside game to trouble Fury. He's basically a glorified British/Euro level fighter, similar to Dereck Chisora.
Current Fury under Sugar Hill will most likely stand and trade in the pocket and look for an early KO. His size will also give Whyte fits.
I’ve got Tyson changing up that fight style he had against wilder .
More movement ( not running but more active with his footwork ) feinting , switch hitting , plenty of rumours he has been training south paw which is interesting. He may start in that stance
And basically taking Whyte into deep water , waiting for the right moment to finish him , might come early , might come middle , might come late . But I’m predicting a stoppage
-
@kiwiinmelb Yes it has been mentioned and yes we might see him fighting a bit longer than what he showed in the 2nd and 3rd Wilder fights. I would think that he'll start off on the backfoot for the first few rounds picking him apart and making Whyte tire as his gas tank isn't the best, before eventually planting his feet and looking to take him out in the 2nd half of the fight. One thing Whyte does do well is go to the body before following up with his left hook so thats the only way I can see him having any sort of success and he'll need to go early as well as the longer the fight goes, the stronger Fury gets.

Night and Day
Tremendous finish

Stylistically fury is a nightmare match up for Whyte ,
He likes to fight on the inside but is no mike Tyson or joe Frazier anyway ,
Better skills, much bigger body frame to keep him on the outside from fury , it became obvious early where it was heading
That uppercut was a peach of a punch ,not sure we would have seen that shot under the old fury from years ago, he has become an alround much more difficult opponent under sugar hill

ref- "can you go?"
jbl- "what does go mean?"
ref- "ok, continue"
