Did you watch the Hamilton/Goode podcast on the game? That article gets the gist of it but the detail was more telling. Goode was scathing about England. He cited a clueless attack and disorganised defence and laid both squarely on the coaches. Hard to disagree. Apart from kick and chase could you discern England’s attack plan? Fucked if I could.

@catogrande haven't read the article yet. Thought the Genge tactic made for a fun watch, certainly created confusion and like I said during the game - worked in isolation, looked great! But then you look at the rest of what was going on and it seemed pretty gimmicky and not well thought through - everything after Genge smashing it up and making a couple of yards was dysfunctional and/or disorganised.
