OK match day squad yet to be confirmed, so only the 26 man squad and therefore could still change but not likely.

Hmmm. Eddie playing silly buggers with the back row again. Curry the only specialist flanker and he has yet to return to full training following return to play concussion protocols. 🙄

England team announced. Dombrandt has hardly trained due to Covid but is selected on the bench, which seems strange. Ewels keeps his spot with Launchbury on the bench - I can just about live with that as Ewels didn't do too badly v Wales. Given unavailabilities I'm not that pissed off with this selection, though I still think Ireland will be too strong for us. They look like they all know where they want to go, whereas England seem somewhat confused.

England: Steward; Malins, Marchant, Slade, Nowell; Smith, Randall; Genge, George, Sinckler, Itoje, Ewels, Lawes (capt), Curry, Simmonds.

Replacements: Blamire, Marler, Stuart, Launchbury, Dombrandt, Youngs, Ford, Daly

Ireland team to face England. Their bench looks a bit more intimidating than England's and may be the difference.

Ireland: Keenan; Conway, Ringrose, Aki, Lowe; Sexton (capt.), Gibson-Park; Healy, Sheehan, Furlong, Beirne, Ryan; O'Mahony, van der Flier, Doris.

Replacements: Herring, Kilcoyne, Bealham, Henderson, Conan, Murray, Carbery, Henshaw.

Hang on, isn't the mitigation that it's head on head? It wasn't a high shot.

Absolute shit show. Rules are destroying the game. Yellow all the way. Like the Italy game last week, it destroys the competitiveness.

    Yet another match ruined.

Should have tackled less upright though and I don’t think Ryan will be back either.

Pretty sure we can expect a "levelling" card before halftime. Curry just took a clean out to the head.

    I would prefer 14 vs 14 TBH.

That's bullshit to not look at the high shot on Slade.

Yep. Eddie’s genius selection of one specialist flanker in the 23 coming home to roost 🙄

The sending off was a fucking disgrace. That crowd in Twickenham have paid big money and the game was ruined in the second minute. Quickest sending off in 5/6 Nations history.

Hint to World Rugby, the punters aren't playing to watch the referee.
