I would rest all of Barrett, A Savea, Lomax, Prinsep, Blackwell, Rakete-Stones, Love and Sullivan
The word drop could be used for some of those names in your list.

Not a great watch, too many mistakes by both sides - Canes didn't have that much possession as usual, when we did we aimlessly kicked it away, mainly due to Barrett's wayward kicking... when we do have the ball our forwards need to take it through a lot more phases like the Highlanders did, unfortunately for them they couldn't finish off a fair few of their moves when they looked like scoring tries.

@canes4life Actually i also errored by using the word "could" when it fact "should" would be more accurate!

I being trying to post but couldn't. But a poor game. And thankfully canes have Ardie. Delany played well. I was wrong about him. Love has a long way to go still
To be fair Love set up two tries. Let’s hope he gets better service from his halfback next game because Judd was garbage.
Looked like Love wasn't properly fit, he seemed to be favouring his leg, which had a big bandage on it... he's well known as a running 10, can only remember him running at the line once, at that was only at about half pace.

@canes4life I’m more thinking I don’t want Savea anywhere near the 23

He could not catch the pill with the try line undefended.Usually that is one of his strengths. He caught a high ball for a try in the pouring rain in Invercargill last year. It looked like LCF misjudged the kick, or it was too high, and ended up having to catch it above his head.

@mikey07 Barrett has been pretty physical in those first three games so I think he needs a week off.
Not a fan of changing too many players each game, on most occasions if you're going to make some changes it should be in the forwards, they're the ones that mostly do the hard yakka smashing & bashing their way up the middle etc... if any player needs a week off it's A.Savea, the bloke always gives it 100%, he consistently powers his way through tackles, wins a lot of breakdown ball etc, his work rate is incredible.

Was a little disappointed in Fakatava. He looked really average out there. Option taking was off and delivery was laboured. I hope he improves!

Last week we had people talking him up as the next best HB in the country. Maybe he needs games under the belt but his option taking was slow two games ago as well.

“He's got to learn he can't take everyone on himself,” Brown told Stuff afterwards. “So, he's got to play with the team and do his job better.” - Ouch..but true

I don't think I've seen an uglier game for a while but it is early in the season. Let's hope we don't see a rehash of that.
Who impressed me was Thomas Umaga-Jensen - big, strong and can break tackles & beat defenders. Delany from the Canes was pretty good on debut. Ardie was Ardie..immense.

@themojoman sweet feet for a big man eh, was like ALB on roids.

A midfield combo with the two twin brothers could be fun but it won't happen under Foster's management.Yeah I think Josh would be even more lacklustre in the midfield than jack has been the last couple of years.
