I'm not a fan of useless information. I prefer evidence, validity and substance be present in judgements. Just my opinion
 
 
Running people down based on less than 100 words of their life is (in my opinion - so if you like doing that then don't bother challenging me) is simply a piss poor way of reaching a valid judgement, and I think (again just to be clear) that it makes people sound like "holier than though" or superior human beings.

This interview was a 2000 word deal in the Times. Stuff took 5 lines out of contect to the interview & used them to make their usual 200-word written for retards click bait. The actual article is excellent and you get a great over vierw of Gayle. So you don't get stuff like -

Gayle grew up with nothing in a shitty part of Jamacia. Shared a bed with 4 brothers & had a dad who made him play cricket to avoid gangs.
 
I'm not a huge Gayle fan, but in the serialisation in the Times he comes across surpsisingly well. Even when discussing Blushgate (he also points out his daughter actually called Chrisalina, which is dumb, but not as dumb as Blush). The level of hipocracy was highlighted in the serialisation too. He notes Chris Rogers saying he led guys astray & then mentions that Chris Rogers was the one guy guarenteed to be out drinking with him. Or Chappell saying he should be banned, the same Chappell who was once arrested for assault in the carribean etc...

You missed the point of "spoilt children". It means those in life "at the top" so to speak, generally have little incentive to change unless they stand to lose something.
In Gayle's case, a hard core fan base, loads of women, money.....why change??

What really winds me up is that what Gayle seems to be guilty of is showing his true colours in public. As Gollum says, a number of top sportspeople treat women terribly. Ray Rice in an elevator, Todd Carney glassing his girlfriend, Kiwi rugby players smacking their wife - that sort of violence is a real issue. However, while that gets swept under the carpet, then we are free to manufacture some real outrage at relatively low level poor behaviour.

Some may point out a bit of a Gayle bias in my case ( disappointed in TR, Virg, M4L and NTA ) but I refute that by saying I have no issue with Tyson Fury saying the same sort of inflammatory shit just to get a reaction and I have no admiration for that bloke in the slightest.

Second case, Gayle and Edwards are presumably in a room together conducting an interview. Gayle says so many things and she or the Times choose to publicise certain bits. Sure Gayle knows that everything from "good morning can I have some water" to "thanks bye" is going to be recorded but you know what, he doesn't give a fuck. he's living his life, and he doesn't need to toe the party line. Edwards made no mention of being threatened, so what's the crime again?
