    @bobily2 Shame, he looks a quality 10. Thought an NZ franchise might have picked him up. Might be the making of him now.

    I was disappointed the Crusaders didn’t pick him up,
    Instead of Hickey,Parata could be a decent player in the future.

    Not sure - the Facebook post didn't mention contract duration. There is only one news site that has reported it, but its behind a pay wall. The article headline could suggest its just this year.

    @yeetyaah
    Giving him some play time is good for him but I hope he won't finish with the 10 jersey of the Wallabies ! The NZRFU should bring him back home : the sooner the better. I only saw him play once but he made a strong impression on me. He oozes class.

    That contract length suggests he's going to declare for Oz. I remember when he signed with Crusaders his management saying he was always going to come back to NZ though (from high school in Oz) but I guess things can change in 3 years.

    I imagine a lot of that is frustration due to how long it has taken him to make some headway in the NZ system. He only really got starts last year at NPC, and I think he's 22 now.

    Former England wing Denny Solomona gunning for Super Rugby call-up

    Former England international Denny Solomona has returned home to New Zealand and has his sights locked on playing Super Rugby this season.

    Kinda exdous but not from us. Solomona looking for a Super team.

    @yeetyaah He would be a late addition into the squads, wonder who signs him. Zach Mercer is another Kiwi who has played for England and has talked about coming to New Zealand to play. He has been compared by Toad Blackadder as being similar to Kieran Reid, he has however signed with Montepellar in France.

    @sbw1 I can't really speak for him as I've never seen him play. He doesn't seem big enough to be a "power winger" but idk be cool to see him in the NPC first.

    @sbw1 being Samoan and having played 5 x tests for England in 2017
    I reckon Moana Pacifika would be a good fit for Solomona and with the current stand down eligibility it would put on the radar for Samoa at international level .

    Yup. He's a tighthead prop - honestly, I'm not sure how good he is. He has always been there or close to the Blues/Auckland age group teams, but I haven't exactly heard rave reviews about him.

    I'm sure there are a couple of posters who will know a little more about him.
