I was reading an article today about Americas Next Top Model contestants only being paid $49 per day in expenses, that was taken more or less entirely from about three tweets. At the bottom, they had the gall to refer to the article as "great" (yes I realise it's generic, but they could do without that word in there)
stuff and news.com.au are basically the same page for either side of the Ta$man
if i read something on reddit i can almost guarantee there will be an article about it on news 3 days later

For sure. I remember reading one a while back that was headlined something like "Auckland Cop gives tell all about life on the job" and it was literally just from an "ask me anything" thread in Reddit, with no actual proof that the person answering the questions was actually a current or former police officer.
I get the whole using multiple sources to get your info, but at least try and verify it before reporting it as gospel.

@mn5 he's doing a great job of taking over Dawson as biggest douche who played for England.
I used to think that but I’m changing my point of view. He does come out with some crass stuff and seemingly likes to big himself up but when you catch on that he doesn’t actually take himself seriously, he doesn’t seem quite so bad. Still not sure that I warm to him that much though. I guess we’ll see as I’m due to go and see a performance of “The Good the Bad and the Rugby” in a couple of months or so.
-
@catogrande yeah I was where you are a year or so ago, but he's just full of shit and lying to try and glorify himself. Sure ok James.

I think it’s hilarious he punched someone for trashing his house. I’m not sure why @Bones has an issue with this ?
Huh? I have an issue? I just am overwhelmed by the massive gonads on this fine specimen of a man. You forgot to mention he charged through a fire on the way to knocking that person out. I bet he flies a sleigh in his spare time.

I think I was just triggered you compared him to this guy
I doubt the fire was very big now I read the story again.

As pretty much so the only English player to put himself on the line and come down and play a season in NZ I have massive respect for him.

So in theory the rover should be able to prove that the US landed on the moon because there would I assume be remains such as the lunar buggy and the landing gear of the lunar modules? Maybe that's what the object is?

Half a moon away unfortunately.
And this rover bullshit is as much a part of the hoax as "Neil Armstrong" and "Buzz Aldrin"...

Impossible. He only ever stopped over at an airport in the UK. At no time was he anywhere near a bus.
Other than that, it stands up.
-
@catogrande Rookie mistake. The 58 rerouted past Gracelands on the way to the moon.

I can accept a house on the moon and it wouldn’t surprise me to find Elvis is alive and living on the moon but the idea of a number 58 being anywhere at anything near the right time is just ridiculous.
-
@catogrande Well there was a bit of a kerfuffle when five of them got held up outside Upton Park (literally). That's when Elvis' bus got rerouted.
Given its's clearly still on the Moon and was due to terminate at Walthamstow at 13:44 on March 22nd 1987, I'd agree it is unbelievable that it's running so close to time. But there you go - kudos to London Transport (as was)
