Let's hope so. 🙂 (It looks like he'll need to - given the rest of the bowling options.)

Yeah - that was excellent. I think with DRS it's a bit more risky padding away balls outside off.

Meanwhile Somers is fielding offers to play for the Ilfurdhi 2nd XI next weekend.

Forget Paddles, he could do a Kumble

Even got a little dusty in the ACTC house when they all ran to him after the 10th.

How many have bowled 48 overs out of 110? Only 7 for others at his end??

Outstanding effort. They kept tossing him the ball.
    He kept delivering...

    Here's Laker's test.

Somerville can take a bit of consolation from Tony Lock's efforts - especially in the 2nd innings.

wow, Ajaz Patel. Truly remarkable performance. Incredible.

I have no more words. Best bowling performance bya kiwi, only 3 times in 150 years. Just amazing.

Remember this. We may just be disemboweled on a turning track, but this is some effort. All 10. So proud right now, what a team

Left arm off-break spinner - 10 wickets - can bowl with a new cherry - don't think they can leave him out again for domestic tests, given he bowls well on pitches with pace and bounce. I might just be grinning like a cheshire cat - the last 7 years aside from that blip in Australia have been remarkable.

No there wasn't. Not if Somerville was the supposed rationale.
