@r-l yeah we finished that last night, not a must watch but pretty decent, and we didnt pick the twist.
-
@taniwharugby I'll watch a few more but I have my suspicions about
:::
The teen boy or the teacher buddy
:::
But do not confirm or deny...
-
@r-l well we thought....haha

Ok so season 2 of War of the Worlds, a few eps in.
Why the fuck is the French soldier dude wandering around at night in the open with his barrel-mounted flash light on, basically saying COME AND KILL ME PLEASE WHILE I WASTE THE FINITE RESOURCE THAT IS MY BATTERY
/rant
-
@taniwharugby finished it!! No way would I have guessed that, bit too out there for my liking.
-
@r-l yeah thinking back over it, I'm not sure there were the bread crumbs for you to pick it up, they needed to show some of the flash back scenes in earlier episodes.
:::
Assume you thought it was the mate too, who was dodgy, but just not as dodgy.
:::
-
@taniwharugby yes absolutely thought it was. Decent enough series though. Enjoyed it!

Almost as good as every single person with an open lantern or flame torch holding it out in front of them when searching. Well done you now can’t see a thing, hold it above your head not in front of your face!

Fauda - Just finished watching all 3 seasons of this on Netflix.
Israeli show about a special forces unit who go undercover in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza).
It's pretty action heavy, so I guess fans of Strikeback will like it, slightly more realistic at times and feels more authentic than non Israeli shows set in the area.
Although as it's an Israeli show it isn't as biased as you'd expect and many of the Palestinian characters are fairly sympathetic.
As I'm sure you'll all be wondering, there's barely any boobies, the odd flash here and there.
I'm on a run of subtitled shows, the final season of Money Heist is my next show to watch.

Been watching Chapelwaite with Adrian Brody.
4 eps in and is decent, but the 'horror' aspect has just been revealed and am a bit disappointed, but we will see how it goes.

Help. Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham, about a young woman left to look after some patients in a care home when Covid rips through it. A really difficult, yell-at-the-TV watch but if there are 2 better actors on TV right now I’d like their names. Sweet Jesus they are good. Stephen Graham playing a man with early onset dementia is something to behold. On 4OD for anyone with access. 6 stars out of 5.

Also, to anyone thinking it might be a sitcom due to running time, it’s not, and it gets a bit more dramatic as the series goes along.

At times it reminded me of Brotown. Willie Jack being the Native American version of Jeff da Maori
