Unless she chooses to step away she will probably surpass Ferg and Mcdonald even if she doesn't win this time

Looking at the schedule, the Kiwi action for the rest of the day is on the cycling track.
Medal round for team time trial? Not good with terms. I like the pursuit, very exciting

The Halbergs are going to be brutal this year. Team of the year especially. Carrington a contender to be nominated for both woman and team now?
Team of the year is going to be mental. Team NZ, black caps, men's 8, women's pair, women's sevens, k2 500 have already achieved enough to be finalists normally.

So the Aussies were right, our top medallists all do it on their backside.

Right now, I'd say Lisa Carrington for SOTY, and Black Caps for TOTY. For the Caps to do what they did, with the resources they ahd was sensational. Lisa - just incredible; two golds so far, and a lifetime haul of 4 is insane.

@bovidae Need to finish ahead of GBR and Spain to take gold basically? 3 way race for the medals.
B and T are leading. So just need to cover the other 2

Ah, also men's shotput qualification (group A, Walsh) at 10.15pm, women's hammer throw final (Ratcliffe) at 11.35pm and more men's shotput qualification (group B, Gill) at 11.40pm.
Also jumping individual qualifiers at 10.00pm, but there's the horses doing the work.
