Lifts us above the Netherlands on the table too. 10th
A bit of heresy, but if we still competed as Australasia we'd be just a couple of golds behind the US on the medal table.
We'd be bitching about the passengers from the Federated States, though!

Norwegian breaks world record in 400m hurdles and then shows his nipples.

So she now has the K1 500 and K4 500 tomorrow?
After just an hour or so back becoming the most successful New Zealand female Olympian, with a third gold medal, she has now added a fourth to that collection.
It's now five Olympic medals in total for Carrington (four gold, one bronze) and that sees her now equal on the most for New Zealand, with fellow kayakers Ian Ferguson and Paul MacDonald, and equestrian Sir Mark Todd.

Unless she chooses to step away she will probably surpass Ferg and Mcdonald even if she doesn't win this time

Medal round for team time trial? Not good with terms. I like the pursuit, very exciting

The Halbergs are going to be brutal this year. Team of the year especially. Carrington a contender to be nominated for both woman and team now?
Team of the year is going to be mental. Team NZ, black caps, men's 8, women's pair, women's sevens, k2 500 have already achieved enough to be finalists normally.

So the Aussies were right, our top medallists all do it on their backside.
