Someone at Argon will be running nd hiding that’s a lot of years of work just gone up in smoke from a failure
Makes our weird design with the bar struts seem like a great idea!

@canefan They should have to wear the consequences of sacrificing the all important strength component of the bike for the gains achieved from the reduction in weight. Go for too light stuff and it breaks then tough titties, you should not get a rerun from scratch. I'm ok if they keep the clock running whilst repairs are being carried out but dead against the re-run from the beginning.
You break your car in motor racing and you do not get that sort of concession.

Aussies racing now. The fallen rider must feel pretty sore and tight

I reckon they would have been a big threat if they hadn't crashed. Had to ride an extra km with largely 3 riders and not far off the pace.

Oliver Wood took it pretty easy in the first round for Britain. They'll be expecting a bit of magic from him in the next round!

Always been rule if you crash you get a restart.. why if you ever see someone pull. A pedal you have to throw yourself on the ground

Or yell at the guy who pulled the pedal to throw himself on the ground!

I might not have the Olympic spirit! 🙂

Not looking good for us in the evening. The jump course isn’t challenging the better riders at all. No movement at all in order from the first rotation and no one gaining any ground either.
Barring a France or Aus rider having a meltdown we will be stuck in fourth.

Surely there will be a Spinning Rhombus somewhere!

I stayed in these same hotel as the Dutch field hockey team once in the Nehtherlands.

Many of them, are indeed, seriously seriously hot. On the flip side, the shortest one was about 6ft 1.

@booboo Stil three more chances for a double or even better a triple Spinning Rhombus from the others left to jump.

I haven’t spun Rhombus for years but this song was great fun back in the day.

Sweden-Canada final then. Swedes beat us 4-2 in the pool and I can't see that being turned around.
