French forwards being made to work hard in attack because the halfback doesn’t trust the backs!

You can argue all day about Marika making contact to the head and not being low enough in the tackle but fuck me, this is pro International Rugby for Christ’s sake. The player was falling into the tackle and there was absolute no malice in the tackle what so ever, surely that should be a factor in the ref’s decision making.
These referees are so by the book it’s pretty much robotic decision making. Disgraceful referring in my eyes and they should be held accountable for destroying a spectacle.
Just consulted the World Rugby Law Book for those bolded words of colour to discover they are not there.
I do enjoy when it is expected that the referee should behave like an extension of the local Union's marketing department, offering an interesting spectacle 'n such.

Out of curiosity what is the rule about where the hookers feet should be when throwing into the lineout? It seems most hookers stand in the field of play with just their heels touching the line.
