Flying Fijians squad for 2019 Rugby World Cup

Fiji Rugby today named the squad to represent Fiji at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan at a Media Conference at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji. Head Coach John McKee said the squad, captained by Dominiko Waqaniburotu, has an opportunity to do something special for Fiji and is challenging

A fair few others have been floating about 7's and SH rugby.

Fair enough, however that was two years ago and I struggled to fit in watching all yhe games. I'm not Stargazer.

    Do better next time.

I will concede that I tend to not know the players in teams I don't watch or take interest in.

I usually have a better idea, like I know 6N teams but don't watch much 6N.

    Fiji just don't play enough.

I feel like watching the highlights of the major games at the World Cup is not that hard to fit in mate!

Nothing wrong with the question from @pakman Havili's had some problems on defence. He missed five tackles against the Brumbies for instance

Not a big deal, he's still in the early stages of learning the position

I also remember Havilli pulling off some big hits in SRA.

Both Havili and Tupaea have had some issues this year. I think it was Ioane who made Tupaea his bitch when we played the Blues.

Edit: I badly fucked that up. Tupaea exposed Roane who missed 6 tackles 🙂

I think that might have been last year? Tupaea exposed Plummer badly in Hamilton. The Chiefs should've got more points with the space that created. But that's just another example of how hard the position is on defence

Yep, you've got a better memory than me, it was in the first game of last season when Tupaea was at 13 and missed 4 tackles. He and Nankivell had a mare on defence that night (he also had 4 misses). Tupaea ran well though.

At least I didn't dream up my post above, I was starting to get really worried that I had gone right around the bend.

When Jordan subs on I hope it's at 14 and they try Reece on the left.

Reece played all of his rugby for Waikato on the left wing so it's not a position that is foreign to him.
