“Cooking steak in a toaster is literally a recipe for disaster. To have then left the house and toaster unattended for the sake of hot chips must be a constant source of regret. Never, never leave cooking unattended, even if you think you’ll just be a minute – and please, use your appliances for the purpose for which they designed. Toasters are for toast.”
I’d say all the Toilet paper he stocked up on ( cos I’m safely assuming he’s one of those types ) would have meant the house burnt pretty quick too.

@crucial policies changed from full replacement to sum insured following the Christchurch earthquakes, so I guess it is a new change... (although many insurers are now offering additional payout for non-natural disaster events, which this was, but if he has never updated it, or spoken to them)
I recall seeing a 'life hack' on a youtube or tik tok clip my kids were watching one day and was a dude on there said to cook your steak in the toaster!!

Incredibly dumb shit to put your steak in the toaster then go down the road for chips though.

@crucial well yep!
But then he was using his toaster to cook steak FFS, was probably schnitzel or some other crap, I mean what kind of tard would put a sirloin, or scotch fillet in a toaster (well any cut of meat TBF, but hey, thats just me)
I mean the name is in the appliance, TOASTER, not fryer/bbqer

Toasters struggle with Vogels bread so I can't imagine cooking a steak in one.

I have seen someone use a panini press to cook a steak. But a toaster?

Haven't read any more than the headline, but given a judge has heard both sides and determined she should still be subject to the management of her father may just mean she needs to be subject to management by someone who loves and cares for her, even though maybe because, he doesn't agree to her whims.
But I haven't followed the case, nor read the judgement, nor even read the story.

There's obviously a lot the public aren't told, but for her to explicitly say she doesn't want her father in her life at all,I think that should be respected. There are other agencies available to fill that role. It seems very strange to me, I suspect she needs the conservatorship either way.
I don't see it ending well. -

You are now the person I shall go to for more information on this subject.

@r-l what comment?

@catogrande you are awful😏, the point is it doesn't matter if she is fat or not!
I do think it's probably better to put an emphasis on a healthy strong body rather than whether you can pull off a crop top or not though.
