Flanders does seem to cramp up early in the second half and it's not like he has a huge work rate. Wonder if his body is still adjusting to packing on quite a bit weight over the off&pre season.
I think he has a good work rate [but doesn’t necessarily feature on both sides of the ball]. For his last five games:
Second for tackles against the Brumbies (14)
First for tackles against the Rebels (10)
Second for tackles against the Tahs (13)
Run leader for the forwards against the landers (9) and equal defenders beaten (4) with 6 tackles in 53 minutes
Led the forwards for runs and metres against the Chiefs (7, 39) with 3 defenders beaten and 2 offloads, plus 7 tacklesI dont think he is there yet, but I wouldn’t be shocked to hear his name read out either.

Nope, he mustn't. He's certainly good, and in the frame. But smashing shit ozzie teams is not what you judged on. In the SRA games he was no where near as prominent

Really quiet first month but was good in the second round of SRA games. Looks like he’ll be peaking in the international season. I’m not worried about his March form

I think Sotutu and Akira Inoue should be fighting for the No. 8 spot. A very green but accurate Grace will be waiting in the background as well.

Gregor Paul: Ian Foster's most intriguing choice
Opinion: Foster needs to appoint a care-taker skipper who can glue squad together.
With 36 names, at least, to be announced in the All Blacks squad this Monday, it's unlikely there will be a host of wildly unpredictable selections or shock omissions.
We can expect a few new names, possibly Leicester Fainga'anuku, and maybe Salesi Ryasi and Finlay Christie, while Brodie Retallick, David Havili and Braydon Ennor should all return after not being involved last year for various reasons.
But 2021 isn't a fresh start year. The door isn't closed to new arrivals, but having only been able to play six tests last year, All Blacks coach Ian Foster has his sights set on building the experience and ability of the group he mostly used last year.

I'll laugh fucking maniacally if Salesi Ryasi gets into an All Black squad. With his error rate and decision making he's barely NPC level.

@kiwimurph I guess. I think the most likely back-ups to Smith and Weber are Drummond and TTT, as both have already been capped. Less likely, but still possible: Christie (heaven forbid) and maybe Roe?
TTT has hardly played, so you'd have to think Drummond? I'd have preferred Hall.
