@antipodean i thought the rules stated that you have to yellow card when issuing a penalty try.
That's correct, but who is at fault in that scrum? Not sure I'd trust the ref to make that call correctly.
Agree regarding the outcome.
1 in 14. That's better odds than normal, right?

Lovely box kick Nock.
When he gets the distance right they are always contestable, because he gets so much height.

As good as Zarn has been, and he has, Otere has been poor.

@bones nor do the refs, apparently.
I found this...
A penalty try is awarded between the goal posts if foul play by the opposing team prevents a probable try from being scored, or scored in a more advantageous position. A player guilty of this must be cautioned and temporarily suspended or sent off. No conversion is attempted.
Maybe it's semantics...."a player" but not "a front row".

Looked forward
I cant believe that wasn’t checked, has the video ref already started on the Ham sandwiches?

Well - in hindsight, it was a fucking travesty that after the Ref gave that YC - he didn't give another one for the deliberate knock-on in the same play, and when giving the penalty-try - he didn't give another YC to some random forward.
I'd like to think that a 12-man Waratahs team wouldn't have been able to score that last try of theirs, and fuck not one, but two, of my "Category bonus points" in the tipping.
