Reds v Highlanders

Oh fuck off Reds 9 had hands on the ball.

Hee hee. You lost the ability to have plucky losses when you won the comp last year - it'll be a giant being killed.
-

20mins of better footy doesn't excuse the mess the other 60mins was. 20+ missed tackles in first half alone.

-

Well done reds

Piss poor by the landers
-

Ordinarily yes, but I think this counts.
-

That's the poorest the Highlanders have played in a long time. Awful tackling in the 1st half and awful handling all night.

-

That just stressed me out. Reckon the police should investigate for a betting scam.

-
Awful. Was Christie the captain? Because if so that was a dismal performance. He was about the most headless chook of all, especially in the last ten.

Really brainless stuff from the highlanders, odd odd performance, it was like the anti-highlanders. Just have to write that one off.

How on earth was Gill onside at that last box though? -

Well I notice the silence on here about Sopoaga's try when the Highlanders backline were 6m offside. As always, the bad decisions cut both ways and we all get on with life.

Reds played really well in the first half, took advantage of some very weak Clan defence. Did well to hold them out in the end, they thrive on chaos and I thought with 10 minutes left they would win for sure. On their day the Highlanders win that by 20... lucky for the Reds that it wasn't.
-

it's no fun complaining about decisions your team profits from
-

We had the commentators shouting that from the rooftops so it's reasonable to think it was well covered ....
-
Well that capped off a pretty shitty day. Got 4 hours sleep, worked all day then witnessed what looked like a bunch of drunks playing rugby. Incredibly the drunks nearly won.

To add to this awesome day I was getting a couple of beers for myself and my dad. I paid and had a beer in each hand and wallet in back pocket. Son was with me (or more precisely outside and to the side of the serving area because apparently standing in front looking in will make him an alcoholic)and wanted a coke. I just asked him to hold one beer while I took out my wallet. Took about a second, but that was time enough for one of the stadium staff to run up to me and warn me not to do that. I turned to him, told my son to cover his ears, and told this fella to fuck off. He threatened to call security and I told him to go ahead. I thought he would but then I think he realised that chucking a guy out for letting his son hold onto a beer for 2 seconds was a bit much even for this state of the nanny.

Other than that, had a blast.
