@davies Hi, welcome to the Silver Fern!
Tbh, I had totally missed the news of his signing with Ospreys.
I find it hard to answer your question. He has been in the Crusaders environment for a year, but he only played in one game (off the bench) and wasn't re-signed. If I remember it correctly, he was only in the squad because of injuries (and players leaving). No doubt, he'll have learned from that experience, but he's little experience at Super Rugby level.
Maybe there's someone on the Fern who remembers his games for North Harbour. He has played about 20 games for the province (2 seasons).

@stargazer pretty cool , great to see Collins playing in his more preferred position in the midfield, to be fair i don’t see him as an international rugby player ..but stranger things have happened.

@steven-harris
Every NZer would've said the same for Parkes but be became a minor cult hero in Wales. -

Southland Stags’ 2021 prospects have been dealt a massive blow with impressive tight-head prop Siate Tokolahi heading overseas to play.
A big loss for the Highlanders too.

@kiwiwomble Ainsley will likely end up as the starting TH prop in 2022 but Hohneck is 35 so the Highlanders will need to be looking for a younger prop to develop.

Confirmed:
Ospreys sign utility back Collins
The Ospreys regional rugby franchise can confirm the signing of utility back Michael Collins on a two-year deal.
This sounds like he won't play NPC:
Collins, 27, played Super Rugby for the New Zealand franchises - the Auckland Blues and the Otago Highlanders – and will join the Ospreys in the summer.
