    Stuart Barnes has written a eulogy on how TKB’s fizzing pass and Ihaia West’s gain lane attack has set European Rugby alive at La Rochelle.

    Was TKB previously known for his passing?

    I recall he used to be able to throw some very wide cut out passes, usually in general play rather than general halfback play. None of the Smith precision bullets though.

    So far Fakatava reminds me more of TKB than Smith, he' s reasonable passer, can throw a grater skip pass, and is really good over the ball and on defense around the ruck.

    It's a pretty cool period of play, which in a nutshell is a series of errors by teams with terrible finishing abilities, but half to half running play for a good 3 minutes or so. Sale versing Gloucester.
