Blues have a fantastic roster of talent at the moment, but are only 2 from 4 this year. Despite all the talent they have available, at the moment they're still a long way behind the Crusaders.

Something to do with the coaches maybe.........

Maybe Tuipulotu should spend more time training and less time practicing non English speeches

But he should spend more time trying to find a better chinese knock-off Blues jersey to play in though. It's clearly a different colour on the front!

Fucking stoked. Chiefs did a great job shutting down the Blues' backline.

@bones I have been impressed with him for a while. Cane is looking like an old horse. He is beat up and worn out.

Well done Chiefs. Blues were off their game and didn't take the penalty kicks.

Pretty sure that GCT was fine though.

That was an obvious obstruction. No excuse there.
He would have been fine if it hadn’t splintered though

If every maul was refereed that way I'd agree with you. Not much wrong with it to be fair - transferring the ball doesn't create an offside player in front.

It does if you transfer to a player that is detached or then detaches and runs into the player in front.

I'll have to watch it again - looked like the same maul with one eye

@yeetyaah the blues back line has not been that impressive. They have an average 5/8s and inconsistent halves. Who is coaching them?

Blues lacking a little on-field leadership.

Intense game and quite physical. Papali’i and Jacobsen two of the best out there.

My thoughts exactly. I imagine he doesn't spend any time practicing languages he speaks.

@act-crusader who else could they have as captain. If you look at the Crusaders you could rattle off several names without thinking. Therein lies the problem. Talent but no leadership.

17 tackles from Dalton Papalii tonight, 15 from Sam Cane. That's your battle for the All Black starting Number 7 Jersey right there.

You mean speeches in his other language?
You’ve been out of NZ too long. Quite common for other languages to be used now.
It has also just been rugby pasifika week in which it was encouraged.
All adds to our unique NZ culture IMO. We aren’t a little Britain anymore

This quite sums up the night for several players, not just Otere Black.

While the game was exciting in the last quarter, it wasn't a great game. Far too many errors. Cringeworthy many errors.

Ok. It whooped right over me. Was it a reference to someone else’s comment or something?
