@mikey07 Yeah, I don't know; as I said, I would find it really strange if the Canes got it wrong in their graphics both in 2020 and 2021. They're pretty proud of their heritage and of the celebration of the Pasifika culture. You'd expect them to make sure it's all checked and double-checked and that players would tell them if they forgot their iwi.

@nepia
Could just be a nod to him being a proud kiwi. I know that might not be completely palatable to some but if you've seen enough people with them from around the world with zero cultural connection , I'd say a kiwi with no Maori ancestry with them is way down the scale of inappropriate. Not for me to say I guess. -

@nepia I think he's Samoan and Dutch.
Another Dutch AB.
Good enough for the ABs, but not for Holland

They've probably guaranteed Jordie every test match this year too.
If he keeps playing like this. But he likely won't. His performance tonight was outstanding (10/10 type performance) and I doubt if super man could do this week after week.
But this game shows on form what he can do. As long as he is consistent and doesn't have many bad or low std games (he hadn't yet that I can recall for the Canes) he should start at 15 for the ABs. Not wing
I liked the look of this forward pack. So very happy with the win. Based on Barretts play and good defence. Or the Highlanders not converting to points their domination in the first half

JB such a clumsy-looking runner at times but really showed me up tonight. But (and I treasure this moment) at 15, not wing, please!
-
So the two quotes from Jordie in this article tell me that he never wants to play anywhere but 15, and he sounds pretty happy doing it with the Canes.

**** me, Jordie Barrett, what a gem! A hat trick of hat tricks. Three tries, three conversations, three penalties.
And to top it off for me I thought the best thing he did with all that was he ran the backline. You could see him talking the whole game moving players around.

@dan54 yeah he was a dynamo last night. Best performance Iโve seen from him in a while. I thought the three best players on the park were JB, Kirifi and IWL.
We perhaps watch rugby the same mate. pretty well as I saw it too. -
@mikey07 lol you could almost put the house on Blackwell and Savea getting the nod next week. Winning isnโt normal for Holland so Iโm sure he will need to mix things up again.
Seriously though, I hope we see the likes of Flanders and PUJ get a start.
One player that Iโve been impressed with is Luke Campbell at halfback. He looks like a really solid option for us moving forward. He has a solid kicking game and a strong clearance from the ruck. Hope he continues to improve.

One of Jodie Barrett's biggest assets is the length he can get on his field kicks. He peeled off metres last night.
