Completely confused as to why PUJ remains on the bench. He outplayed or matched every opponent he came up against last year and the thanks he gets is a seat on the pine? These coaches really know how to knock a young players confidence.
To be fair he has been decidedly average so fat yhis year though, and perhaps that may have something to do with the 9-10 combo. Be loody hard to shine outside them!
How can you be average if you basically never play

Two fairly even line-ups if you ask me.
Is Ngani Punivai injured or has Brown dropped him?
-
A better hurricanes team this week.
Less influenced on experience more on form finaly
-
@kiwi_expat Seems to be a case of rotation?
-
midfield fails to get the ball wide...swap out your wings...makes sense
i am tempted to put some money on a Vahaakolo try, smith down the blind, pops on the 22 and nothing stops him
-
@stargazer really? after a 39 point drubbing to the Blues in previous round?
I highly doubt Brown would refrain from playing his best 23 in a must-win game. Highlanders beating Canes could be the difference between finishing 3rd or 4th.

@kiwi_expat especially after just having the bye.

youre not wrong but i dont think Punivai has done enough to say he's the clear option, he's been solid but hasn;t owned it like Nareki has on the other side
-
Nareki a late scratch
-
@kiwimurph I think even I’ve only claimed “arguably”
-
Coles already making a huge difference.
-
is nareki not playing? i missed the start
