I can see Jordie Barrett saying f this and heading to the Blues at this rate

Canes risk losing a lot of their key players.

McKenzie should play 10. ENS needs to be fucked off. Tiatia was impressive.

    Firstly, a win. 🤣

ENS is fine. Moving Tupaea to the wing was a dumb move by McMillan.

I agree that the Chiefs looked so much more dangerous with DMac at 1st 5, and he spent a lot of the 1st half at first receiver anyway. We might see Trask at fullback but he was poor in his first game.

@winger I actually didn’t mind Campbell after those early fumbles, but Taumatiene was pathetic when he came on.

Leger did f all at 10 and only went through the motions. Hopefully Love gets a shot. You can’t get any worse.

Highlight of the match: Angus Ta'avao giving McKenzie shit for missing the penalty at the end in the post match interviews.

DMac needs to start at 10 for the Chiefs.

DMac needs to be given more time at 10, and maybe given another try at 10 for the ABs.

    Fuck right off.

He did well at 10 against France in his first start there. One of the best games I've seen from an AB 10 over the last 4 or 5 years

Is that a joke? The France game where they had one foot on the plane already?

Jesus christ one good half against a shit Canes team and people are calling for him to be five-eighth for the All Blacks.

I feel a bit sorry for Holland after his after match interview. He's so clearly totally out of his depth. But seems like a good enough guy. I just can't see him righting things though as he hasn't a clue

I could point him in the right direction (as many could) but maybe hes too head strong to listen to wiser heads 😁 Not me but experienced ex coaches within the Canes region. And that's what he (and Gibbes) must do

It's not like every player looked amazing against that French team. He stood out more than most.

And I've been calling for it for awhile (perhaps s not on this forum). Based on much more than one game.

@antipodean I think he should definitely start at 10 for the All Blacks. And Jordan Barrett has 14 all wrapped up.

I'll change my position when he continuously displays a calm demeanour on the field instead of his usual headless chicken act. Yes he played well today in the second half. It was against the Canes. A little perspective.

@winger he should never have been the head coach. Plumtree being called up to the All Blacks right before the start of the season last year and Holland being promoted with little other choices available at the time will probably bite the Canes for a wee while yet.

Avan Lee has a lot to answer for but no one is really holding him to account. Seems like it’s dumb decision after another at the Canes, and with the contract extension of Holland & Co nothings going to change anytime soon. It will most likely get worse before it gets better, especially if Jordie joins his bro up North.

Once again, my opinion is based on more than one game. In my opinion he's consistently shown he can put players into space, or at least get them moving forward (which is something we have struggled with the last few years).

I think he'll also get a lot better (less headless chicken play) once he's actually played a decent amount of rugby consistently at 10. He's never really been given consistent gsnetime there.

Just to be clear, I'm not calling for him to be picked as a starter ahead of Barrett or Mounga just yet. I believe he's shown he is worth sticking with there for the Chiefs, and maybe the odd start for the Abs and evaluate how he goes.

    Another shit input from Webber.

Weber needs to run more because that is his strength. His clearance at the breakdown and accuracy of passing needs to improve.

@canes4life He won’t because RTS is up there unless he wants to play wing.
