Hurricanes didn't fire a shot in the 2nd half. Very poor. Winless this year.

Must have been a terrible halftime speech for the Canes. Just leave them on the field next week.

That settles it, Sam Cane clearly the best 7 and leader in the country.

No need for anymore arguments on the fern about it.

Chiefs won the 2nd half 28-3

Canes are just a poorly selected and poorly coached side. If the coaches don't have a complete rethink (and maybe ask for some outside help as they don't seem to have a clue) they will be lucky to win a game this year

Congrats to the Chiefs for getting the monkey of their back.

In terms of the Canes we were challenging for the title between 2014 and 2019 making the Semis for five consecutive seasons, how on earth did we become this shit so quickly?

@sparky Losing Beauden and our head coaches, plus Perenara this season has had plenty to do with it.

Poor selections the biggest headache. For example Walker-Leawere was great tonight, Blackwell absolute garbage, but we all know who will be picked next week.

    Good game. Right result.

Not sure I've been as excited about a Super Rugby match as I was with this one, and didnt8realise I was until Ah Kuoi scored. 🙂

McKenzie should play 10. ENS needs to be fucked off. Tiatia was impressive. Dunno what got into the forwards at half time but I know they need to do I again.

@kiwimurph Dmac at 10 just changed the dynamic and got the players running onto the ball and left the Canes defenders in two minds I thought.

    Uninspiring selections.
Too much love for plodders in the pack, while holding back genuine talent.

His combination with the centres was really good

Well played Chiefs. Canes were dogshit with mould on top in that second half.

I can see Jordie Barrett saying f this and heading to the Blues at this rate.

We need to drop Blackwell and Prinsep
And find a new HB and 1st 5 combination. Hopefully Love is an option

Canes risk losing a lot of their key players.

    Firstly, a win. 🤣

ENS is fine. Moving Tupaea to the wing was a dumb move by McMillan.

I agree that the Chiefs looked so much more dangerous with DMac at 1st 5, and he spent a lot of the 1st half at first receiver anyway. We might see Trask at fullback but he was poor in his first game.

@winger I actually didn’t mind Campbell after those early fumbles, but Taumatiene was pathetic when he came on.

Leger did f all at 10 and only went through the motions. Hopefully Love gets a shot. You can’t get any worse.
