Not impacting the result at all but Doleman has not been impressive. Missed stuff from both teams all over the shop.
The fact that Came had to use his challenge on the Mounga forward pass is the moronic setup to Williams' lazy decision.

I really really don’t like the goal line drop out.
Especially when it's Tiatia kicking it...
I love my rugby with a bit of comedy mixed in...
The ground announcer was too slow to cue Benny Hill...

@gunner Weber got dudded in one of the worst TMO decisions you will ever see. End result was a Crusaders try and Weber being binned in what should have been a Mounga knock on.
It should have been a penalty against the jersey puller.

Without seeing it, how the fuck does that happen?
In my opinion the ref and TMOs often over complicate it by trying to be too technical.
Just keep it simple, if it looks like a dog and barks like a dog, chances are it’s a fucking dog, and don’t need a DNA sample to confirm it....

One thing New Zealand consistently fails to develop is competent referees. Anyone with a feel for the game plays.

@gunner essentially what seemed to happen was the TMO made a quick call from one viewing/angle when in fact the second angle clearly showed what happened.
And yet we have a chorus of people saying speed the decisions up. Even during this thread. Fuck being an official, they can't bloody win.

How many times do you need to watch the same angle before going to another?

What’s the fucking point of a fucking captains challenge if the fucking TMO is a fucking blind fuck!
Tbe mistake made was having only one captain’s review. It should be like cricket. If you are successful you retain your review.

There's a balance. I don't think looking at 2 or 3 views/angles is a problem.
There are times when the views/angles gets into double digits though.

As many times as it takes. It's easy for us as fans to make a call because there are no repercussions if we get it wrong, but the officials have to get it right. I don't care if they take their time.

The Cheifs lost to a much, much better team on the day and the ref's stuff-ups only altered the winning margin.

As many times as it takes to form an incorrect opinion clearly corrected by a different camera angle?

Had a feeling you would say that, but that is nitbwhat I am getting at. No argument they made an error in the in the knock on call. I am referring to the call to speed up their decision making while at the same time insisting they get everything right. The two do not necessarily go hand in hand.
