@tim He was totally correct though. But yeah, was there a need to say out loud what everybody is already thinking?
Whats the issue here? Maybe just lighten up and enjoy the win

@delicatessen As his forum protector you should appreciate the feedback. He couldn't even look good against Harry Plummer.
-
@delicatessen just trying to motivate him?

but the Canes kept on struggling
Not helped by 2 yellow cards. And Kirifi playing like a fool when he came on. I was unsure why they made this change as Fifita was providing a good attacking and line-out option

@tim pls calm your Aucklandness. Looked pretty clear.
How do you know it veered back before passing the posts?
That was my first thought to explain it, but the 2nd replay showed it never going outside the posts.
Honest question - did anybody watching that 2nd replay think there was any way it didn't go over?I suspect the refs believed it would've hit the posts or certainly didn't pass between them.
Well - yeah, the refs - on the ground watching it - obviously thought that... I just couldn't figure out how that could be, from the replay we saw.
On first view - I had no idea.
On replay - I was all like "insert 17-year-old girl voice" what the fuck, that was all, like, totally over, like, totally.
Disclaimer: I have 2 dogs in this fight: I'd like the Hurricanes to win, but I've tipped the Blues to win. So... don't really give a shit, it honestly was an honest (but drunk) question.looks like Fraser on that post had made his mind up early

@delicatessen When I commentate for Sky you'll have a reason to post that. Laumape will be 31 at the next world cup, and will be playing for an NH club.

I'm fucking super-hesitant to say this, coz... well... the whole "I'm not racist, but..." thing
BUT...
I really do appreciate when the winning captains start with a bit of Te Reo, or whichever Pasifika language is their heritage, BUT....
When you're asked a question in english, for a predominately english audience, maybe do the whole "Yeah, thanks for asking, but can I first say... <Te Reo or Pasifika shout-out>" ...And, the same with religion... would we all be cool if the first words out of the winning captain's mouth were "Allahu akbar" ?
And I'm a guy who doesn't consider "Social-Justice-Warrior" to be generally a negative epithet.

I'm reasonably sure it's a bonus point for three tries more than the opposition.
That's what wikipedia claims, for what that's worth.
-
@kruse for the other language part, yes it's fine they respond in a different language, if anything it gives it more of an audience and maybe helps people understand another language more. The speaker of the language probably doesn't care if other people don't understand.
As for religion, yes, I don't care what religion you are and if you wanna thank your god in your way then do so.

My two cents
Firstly How the actual hell Blackwell got a contract extension is beyond me he conceded 3 penalties has buckets for hands and got carded...YET stayed on the field before Scranton’s injury.
For the Canes. I was Teally impressed with Julian Savea he played nothing like he did during the NPC, Aumua was incredible really put his hand up, disappointed in Kirifi when he came on really tried to hard. I thought Ardie and Flanders and Taumateine played really well,Campbell looked really nervous which Is understandable.
For the Blues was impressed the way Black ran the game the blues loosies really stood up and I also thought Talea was on fire.
