Well that was painfully average to watch. I tipped the Blues to win by 14 so I was pretty close.

1st thing, an away win first up is great.

2nd thing, a rather scrappy game, that never got going.

3rd thing, A Ioane best player on the park, A Savea bloody good too.

It's good to have two All Black props on the bench.

Blues need to be a lot sharper if they want to challenge for the title.

Best player to me was Aumua by a country mile.

Messy game from both sides during the first half; Blues got their act together to a certain degree during the second half, but the Canes kept on struggling.

Plummer made a much better fist of 12 than his game v Canes last year at Cake Tin. Low error rate is the key.
