Right @Kruse ?
Huh? What? Did I at some point posit an opinion on this? I must have been drunker than usual.
tis the season. Sometimes I look back on past posts I've made and shake my head and sometimes I can't even blame alcohol !
This result is fucken massive though, forget the usual lame aussie bashing, if anyone puts the intensely unlikable India in their place then they're alright with me. As @NTA and I laugh about frequently, their fans are a very "special" breed indeed.
Can a team possibly comeback and compete in a series when they get bowled out for THIRTY SIX ?
I'll be following the two tests on boxing day with eager anticipation.

Split screen or picture-in-picture?
Big lounge TV and laptop. As our test starts first the Aussie one will get relegated to the latter I think.

I feel like this series is a win win for a neutral. It's equally satisfying to see either group thoroughly humbled.

Yeah dunno. Until the next Brad Haddin shows up it's pretty tough to really dislike the Aussie team to be honest.
Smith cheated and has ridiculously unfair stats, Warner can be a bit of a dick. Aside from that there's not much to go on.

Warner can be a bit of a dick
I was watching some footage from an Ashes series a couple of years back. It is amazing how much more of a dick he was then.
You think he is now dickless?
I think he's probably as big a dick as ever, but has learned that certain things should not be seen to be done. And people are quicker probably to tell him to pull his head in. But a reformed character? I doubt it.
-
@Chester-Draws appears to be more of a dick then
-
Warner seems to have matured a fair bit in recent years. Same insanely punchable face though.
TBH I actually like this Indian team under Kohli. Kohli himself is an absolute gun and humble as fuck off the field. But their fans, oh boy their fluffybunny fans are why it was so absolutely fucking hilarious seeing them get knocked over for 36. The meltdowns across India would have been something to behold. I'm just gutted I'm on leave as I work with plenty of Indians in tech; I'll be sure to reopen this wound in the new year when we're all back in the office.
-
@No-Quarter already had a shot at the Indian guy in my team He's a good bloke so took it in spirit, but despite a relatively comfortable upbringing is well aware of the shortcomings of Indian caste and politics in their cricket and wider society.

Without Warner their usually very high dickhead factor plummets. Even when he's there, you can still hope for him to fail but be alright with the team winning

All very disappointing when the Aussie cricket team aren't mostly complete bellends.
Unfortunately Warner does seemed to have matured and not be as much of a cock, he is stuck with the punchable face. He brought that on himself by being a fuckwit in the first place. There must be some up and coming dickheads that we can look forward to disliking?
Nothing is bloody right this year.

Leap with me on the "get ready for a broken fucken arm" Cummins/Shami bandwagon.

I'm not sure that there is the Clarke / Johnson wankeriness with Smith (cheat, yes) / Cummins.
That is the problem that Aus need to fix. If you are team of arseholes still, at least show it.
