@Snowy Im not really convinced by this. Some of the rotations were forced by injury (such as 9) but a lot of the introductions are European based players being reintegrated (Isa, Cordero, de la Fuente) or are first teamers coming back from injury (Boffelli).
It's probably not the best team they could put out with full fitness but it's far from a B team.
I never said it was. I just suspect that their focus is on next week.

I doubt Cheika and co would have that mindset

We’ll never know but they do have two cracks at it.

@Kirwan Yep, with a bonus point.
They are going to have to look the part, score tries, be aggressive and innovative to shut some of us up.
I don't care about innovative, just the basics done well is enough.
I think I'd prefer a tough, hard-fought win where we showed discipline, patience and coolness under pressure, than the usual 30 point blow-out victory after we lose to a weaker side.

Curious to see how the bench is used, it is 37 degrees in Sydney already, you would be mad not to take this weekends temperatures in NSW into account. Currently 35 in Newcastle
-
@bayimports Foster claims that's why he stacked the bench the way he did - for a late push.

lets see, to be honest if he doesn't make the changes earlier than normal it will be tough. Same goes for both sides, even the wind blowing warm today

Anyone been to Argentina*? I understand the biggest cities are humid rather than super hot in summer and quite a few players would be coming from Europe well - two weeks of an airconditioned hotel - so I imagine they won't have that much of a climate advantage.
*on my bucket list for various reasons. -
I have been, but not long enough to enjoy a local bbq and rugby game, both items on my hit list too

*on my bucket list for various reasons.Yep, did a lads trip to BA to see the AB's play (and Boca Juniors) in 2018. Decent sport, a few steaks, couple of reds, and a heap of yarns.
It was pretty good I guess.

39 degrees outside. Absolutely fuck playing rugby in this weather.
This country eh? If the animals or plants aren't trying to kill you, it just tries to burn you alive instead.
And it'll be hotter tomorrow!

You're not out west are you?
TBH, I don't find this weather that bad (I like the heat which probably contibutes a lot to my hatred of Palmy ) - I went for an hour long walk when it was supposedly 40deg and it was fine.
I also hate aircon, the actual worst thing about my job is the aircon.

Fucked. I've got the thermostat set to 26C to minimise cost but it's a bastard.
Parts of outback NSW, SA, and QLD are due for record temps today. We are talking 45c+and even 47+
Some of them have doubled the numbers of days over 40 this year.
