Remarkably insipid display of football. NSW looked lazy and stupid, again.
-
wtf, the GREATEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE was on and I missed it. Shit.
-
@Paekakboyz repeat the word "origin" 78 times and you're all caught up.
Gould even used it as a verb!
-
Was Gould still bitching about the final?

Despite the scoreline and the full time siren going, Gus says the Blues are still actually on top.
NSW Are Still On Top Here Explains Gus
WENDELL HUSSEY | Cadet | CONTACT
The Blues are on top here, Gus Gould has just revealed.
This comes after 80 minutes of average football where Queensland have actually won 18-14.
Despite the scoreline and the full time siren going, Gus says the Blues are actually on top.
“They’ve got all the momentum, this bodes perfectly.”
“If not for this match, the series at the least.”
“The Blues are all over them.” -

@Donsteppa Phil Gould will come out shortly and say that he feels QLD is on top here, despite the scoreline.
Game missing something. Origin intensity maybe. Bring back the biff -
@westcoastie is there an origin game on?

ORRRRRRRRRRJN PUNCHES!
The multiple head high tackles that go through to the keeper would do more damage than the punches thrown.
-
@ACT-Crusader Jake Friend took a heavy head blow but was allowed to play on.

How pedestrian is Cherry-Evans?

Great to have Cameron George on the Stand-Off show last night, also Brad goes through his 2020 awards

well fuck aye.
Firstly, the absolute deadshits carrying on during the minutes silence can die in a fire. Feral fuckheads
2nd. That was a pumping. I was optimistic when NSW started well, Qld took the shots, then scored first. But after that NSW were relentless. The didn't make an error, just squeezed the life out of Qld, who did well to hang in to half time (sort of). But the writing was on the wall. The Blues attacked with so much pace, and Qld couldn't do anything about it.
But that NSW defense was something else. Fast, aggressive, and accurate. I don't think I've seen a tackle that would have hurt more than the shot Trbojevic put on Xavier Coates. When they pinned Qld in the same corner for about 4 sets in a row it was incredible play.
Cleary was playing on the front foot all night, but he was incredibly good. The early kick options even when they were rolling were brilliant (backed up by great chase), and he was dangerous when he ran.
For Queensland, i honestly don't know what they do from here. They two new forwards that came in are a mile from being good enough, so they need to hope Christian Welsh is better, and they still need to find someone else. Friend, for all his work, throws momentum killing passes set after set. Munster needs to be fit, because wow, look, Ben Hunt isn't very good. Capewell in the centres is having a real dig, but his glaring lack of pace snuffed out a few opportunities last night. Sami is not really good enough. Was Valentine Holmes playing?
The first game was such an aberration, because the players Qld has available who weren't great in the regular season, are proving to not be very good in the post season. What the first game did was paper of the huge cracks in the Qld side, while also give the Blues a massive kick up the ass.
Also i got 3 legs of my big odds multi, and dipped out on the 4th because i had NSW 12 and under.

The loss of Munster was huge, Queensland lost a lot in attack when he didnt come back on, he is also so vocal he would have organised the defence better as well. Especially marking up off scrum plays. In saying that the speed of Teddy and finishing of Addo Carr were incredible.
Clearly had an amazing kicking game, would he have gone so well under pressure? Anyway at least we have a cliff hanger next week.
Oh for those tracking the warriors. It appears they have signed Marcelo Montoya from the Bulldogs and Sean Sullivan on a train on agreement from Brisbane
