YouTube premium $23 🤔
Amazon prime $7 🤔
Netflix$14$16🤔
Disney+ $8 🤔I got a notification today that Netflix is going up to $16. I hope Stan Sport isn't too much extra, I don't need the base stan as I have already seen all the seasons of Mcleods Daughters

Is there any value in Youtube premium?
I use it mainly because it includes YouTube Music so I don't have to pay for tunes. Also no ads which is nice as that was starting to shit me. Once you average it out across 2 adults and 2 kids it is a cost I don't think about much these days.
I've been a bit slack in watching the shows I've lined up on Amazon Prime, and Netflix is strictly for the wife's bullshit like The Crown.
Disney+ is only on for Mando, and only then because the boy couldn't wait until they'd released the whole series for a binge watch and the wife was complicit...
I really got Amazon to watch The Expanse, so should probably put it on hold for a few months BUT the Euro Nations Cup Rugby is apparently going to be streamed...

$14.99 per month or $139 for 12 months.
Was very keen on that idea when they were talking to Agent Raelene.

Stan has some surprisingly good (unexpected) shows. I think I got it for a one off show to watch in a free trial and then kept watching new stuff.

I'm not a huge music person (outside of going to concerts), I'm happy just for free Spotify.
I rotate through the streaming platforms and always try to convince myself I'll drop one but never do - hell, they're all combined cheaper than a night on the piss.

Whilst I am happy for Oz Rugby and what 9 are doing, I did really like Kayo as it offered so much sport for $25. It seems long term there will be a subscription for every fucken sport and we will have to be very selective in what we can afford to watch.

2 adults, 4 kids an it's gold. Esp as Spotify was max 5 users - feck off spotify.

Australians now able to watch Rugby Union without having a hole drilled through their house
CLANCY OVERELL | Editor
... The ex-Sydney Private Schoolboys that maintain control over the grassroots spending are reportedly ‘furious’ at the prospect of working class Australians being able to once again take part in the game they play in heaven.
However, the transition to free-to-air was the only option for RA interim CEO Rob Clarke, who cited the growing membership numbers and TV audiences in rival codes.
“We thought, why not let the povo kids watch a few matches” said Clarke.
“Maybe they’ll even play”
“Maybe this is a way to make sure rugby union remains the number one sport for all the Kiwis moving to Western Sydney by the tens of thousands”
... [snip] ...
Rugby Australia says the partnership will “reboot the game at every level” – especially because Australians of all socio-economic backgrounds can now watch rugby union matches without having to let Rupert Murdoch send a tradesman over to drill a hole through their house and run a cable through it for the basement price of $119 per month.
... While Ex-Wallabies who played under Alan Jones appear disgruntled that the sacred game may now become popular with kids who have names like ‘Jayden’ and ‘Corey’ – the new deal has been described as a win for an organisation that doesn’t see too many wins.
RA is now moving to get the game played in more than just three elite private boys schools.

New neighbour has just moved in, Michael Hooper. My office overlooks his backyard. The wife is looking at setting up a webcam, as he tends to get changed to surf in the backyard.
I have an All Blacks flag you can hang from your office if you’d like?

Do it. Then next Bledisloe I'll see if he laughs at the memory of it.
