Report from game town.
Weather Report:
26 deg, bit of cloud and not much wind.Teeny tiny bit of
rainprecipitation (not even a shower) heading through the Sunny Coast. Currently a couple of small shadows on the radar north of here. But nothing to speak of.Not a yuuge vibe in town. A few Wobbly jumpers, a few less Black shirts. But they are around.
View from hotel to Stadium:
It's an absolutely beautiful day for it. Timed it well. Lovely outdoor breakfast weather too. I was alone sadly.

That Wellington test was my favourite rugby experience
Carter on fire. Fucking awesome match.
Had a ticket from my buddy, but had to hand it back (his other half went) cos of 2nd child due. Still haven't forgiven the little fucker!
Got offered corporate box tickets from a vendor... but as I was working for a Government Department... not allowed to accept such "gifts".
I would have quite happily allowed NZ to drop significantly on the list of "least corrupt countries" just for those tickets. -

One of my telecom work colleagues had a few AB numbers as he was their Account Manager. Needless to say a few drunk prank calls critiquing guys ( who couldn’t answer cos they were in the middle of games ) occurred.

Was quite some motivation for players and fans alike.
Henry's withering put-down of Woodwhinge and Campbell when asked by a Pom journo if he'd used cuttings of the media coverage/attacks on Tana to motivate the AB's
"Aw, I think we're a wee bit too grown up for all that crap"
