@Machpants jesus that's a dumpster fire of a negative article.

If you make all your tackles, you'll probably win. FFS. His arguments don't stand up - we've lost to Ireland, Eng and SA recently, but only occasionally. The SA game in the RWC was a great example - both 2019 and 2015 I'd say. We got beaten up in the forwards, but did enough to win both times. It takes some magic, but That's. What. Really. Good. Teams. Do.

HE's also coneniently ignoring that missed tackles often happen because of the stretching and putting people into space... which pulls defenders around, etc.

    I'm triggered. Muppet.

BTW I only got about five paragraphs in before I gave up on the dipshut fluffybunny

I haven’t read the article but I know it’s rubbish. In this case, this Fernism rings true...

I'm OK with that - if you get to be one of the all time great wings, you get to have paintings of yourself up.

Plus, it looks like he got given it by RWC given the logo.

@sparky gracious in defeat, seems a much more pleasant guy than Kearns for example. We should thank Campo for making sure there was one more piece of copy to help rev the boys up, if they needed it anyway

Even the two GOAT's (back and forward) auras are taking a bash. Really pointless these things, only proves there are more people in NH than in SH rugby playing countries. No way anyone outside of a kiwi should be in the women's category, they've been so totally dominant as to make the ABs look like they have average results.

@Machpants I have been and voted.
Sexton? I have never quite seen the greatness through my black lens.

Men's Sevens player of the decade was an interesting one to pick, as was try of the decade.

Do you choose the try based on skills displayed or the context of how important it was/the opposition?

I ended up going for TJP against Namibia for the shear audacity and skills displayed.

Wouldn't just take Dan Carter ahead of Jonny Sexton, but would take Beauden Barrett and Aaron Cruden too. Probably he's a better player than Stephen Donald or Colin Slade to be fair.

Colin Slade played in a successful World Cup quarter final

Beaver made crucial plays in a world cup final

things J sexton will never do

RWC2011 Final. Penalty to NZ. Game in the balance. Beaver comes on, shirt too small, memories of previous failures and how he'd go in our collective minds. The Duck's first words on the field are "Give me the fucking ball".

One of the great moments in NZ Rugby. Legend.

    Aura's gone again......

'The aura is gone': Has Argentina's victory shattered the All Blacks mystique?

'The aura is gone': Has Argentina's victory shattered the All Blacks mystique?

Historically, the All Blacks haven't just been the strongest rugby team in the world - they've stood head and shoulder above the rest. Some are asking if that's still necessarily the case.
