@Chris as some were quick to rate Rennie on his immediate impact on the chiefs, why should the measuring stick be different at Int level, particularly after the improvement evident in B1, and Foster (rightly) being lambasted and people moaning about Rennie not coaching us , as if he was a genius after 1 game.
Chiefs were pretty average before he took them on, similarly Aus.

Australia are rebuilding I didn’t rave about Rennies influence after game 1 more how the ABs were average
Rennie will have a good team and culture bedded in for the WC .
I do not have confidence Foster will have the same come WC . -

Question marks about Hooper’s captaincy.
Massive assumptions being made on Rennie which some on both sides of the ditch made when Robbie was appointed too.
All fine that you don’t have confidence in Foster but pumping up the Boks and Poms when they aren’t playing any test rugby and they are going through transitions themselves, is a little presumptive

@ACT-Crusader Lolesio will be their 10 in 2023.

And Foster is still shit.
Based on?
50% win rate with ABs, even sorse with Chiefs, picking Bridge and Jordie as wings, being a bloater?
Just guesses

I like his game. Got good size too for a young 1st 5. He’s still a pup and by RWC will be only 23. Rennie better get his skates on quick smart if they are going to build around Noah 😀

I have no doubt they have a good coach. He has already changed their onfield demeanour and discipline
And off-field behaviour. How often did the Wallabies have a beer with the ABs after a test under Cheika?
Did they have one this time? Cheika viewed us like we were the enemy as opposed to a rival. I think that stance tended to interfere with his and the team's ability to think clearly and rationally
I don't think you need to include the bits that aren't in bold.

You know?
I'm thinking the fat jokes / jibes are kind of immature.
Oooh gosh, look at him, he must be incompetent because overweight.
He was a better rugby player than just about every one of you fluffybunnys on here.
And what have you skinny runts achieved in your long illustrious rugby careers?
Speaking as a fat fluffybunny myself.
But whatever floats your boat.

I don’t think so You only have to look at last year that was not that far ago.And where SA and England can be again I don’t see we have progressed much from the end of Hansen’s area looks kind of the same to me.
I am looking forward to 2023 are you saying SA and England will be shit then not as shit as we might be if we don’t change the coach

How many tests have they won in 2020? Who are their shining lights as players in 2020?

What’s last year got to do with what’s in front of us? In the context of test rugby, last year seems an eternity ago given there will be for the first time in eons a test schedule for tier 1 sides like never before in the pro era.
It’s been a disrupted year with Super rugby, a key preparation for test rugby, a new coaching team, new players, new captain. I don’t mind that we will have some bumps in the road and Foster has work to do no doubt but I don’t share your pessimism about what lies ahead.
So whilst normally I would be having an eye on all NH tests sides and also what’s happening on 3Ns/4Ns, right now, it doesn’t matter one iota. We’ve got Oz and Argies and that’s it. No point thinking right now thinking about hypothetical England or Springbok showdowns.

Your opinion but if you don’t look forward you lose games that matter like WC semi Finals
Because you bluff through on the same BS -
@ACT-Crusader I dunno, it’s worth thinking about building a team that can win multiple ways.
This template was found wanting in 2019 and so far has been 50/50 against a rebuilding Oz team that has none of the strengths of an English or Bok team that we have been struggling to beat recently.
So all good to focus on the Bledisloe, but one eye on the future isn’t that unreasonable.

What's being silly about that? You're the one touting imaginary teams as being top of the pile, so why don't you fill us in on how good their players are this year and their test record?
I reckon SA will be reeeeeealy dominant after not playing any test rugby for 2 years eh.
