Rayasi was contracted to the Hurricanes, but did not get any game time ..would love to see the Blues pick him up especially if the Canes are not utilising him
I think he has one year left on that deal? It's likely he'll want to go to the olympics (if they happen) so his time at the Canes may effectively be over.
Blues 2022 makes sense for him given his combinations with the Auckland guys -

@akan004 ..lot of fun doing TDM .Rayasi was contracted to the Hurricanes, but did not get any game time ..would love to see the Blues pick him up especially if the Canes are not utilising him .
Would he get a start on the wing at the Blues if Clarke and Telea are fit? Blues looking for a fullback?
-
I think he's better than Telea

Rayasi might want to go back home and end up with Wellington and the Hurricanes.
He could've done that already. Instead he's flown to Auckland during Canes seasons to play club rugby in Auckland.
That surprised me, I expected to move south when he first signed with the Canes a couple of years ago

Rayasi played in the Hurricanes' last SRA game against the Highlanders.

11 minutes off the bench.

Hodgman was the one that tackled an obstructing Oz player at one stage - it was the most glaring example of his engine not quite being there as he could've just run past him but it almost appeared he saw a chance to have a lie down. Watching him slowly roll and gesture to the ref was quite funny.

Heard Bryn Hall say a few months back on the Super Rugby Aoteroa podcast that Caleb Clarke is one of the best in the country under the high ball, so having Clarke and J Barrett on the wings might be perfect in the future to counter all of the box kicks from england and SA just saying..... we can afford to have J Barrett playing a Ben Smith (2015) role of the second full back safety net defusing bombs, with Clarke as a destructive ball runner too
In a Ben Smith look alike contest, Will Jordan would be the winner IMO, not Jordie.

Ioane : 7.5. A big step up from last week. Showed much more dynamism.
Assume you mean Savea?
I guess that what a Freudian slip.

Oh yeah, my favourite part of this test? Clarke clearly with a sore left hand momentarily forgetting as he's walking off when being replaced and giving someone a low 5 and immediately regretting it. Then holding it well out of the way when going to shake hands with the bench.

Loving people still banging on about SA and England, doesn't look stupid at all because they're extremely relevant right now. They are clearly leading the world at amazing rugby.
It’s hilarious. Some talk as if we are playing them next weekend.

An in form England and SA are a sight to behold at the moment and absolutely unstoppable, didn't you know? And how about the tackling technique on their forwards! They just don't miss, the evidence is clear.
