Wellington v Otago

Two botch ups in two weeks. Wellington are too dumb to win titles.

I enjoyed that, hand to god I was sitting here just saying I was happy it was closer than I thought it would be, wasn’t until Narekis grubber to the corner that I thought we might have a shot
Skill level aside, and he did have a good game, collins is a good captain, always rev the guy up, running in to thank the pack after big srums etc
Gardner was good, I have a feeling anything I could contain about would be more about my bias than anything

@mikey07 It is obvious that the coaches are trying to turn him into a player he is not and cannot be. When he first came on the scene he ranged out in the wider channels and scored some exciting trys using his sheer speed to outrun (and hurdle over) wingers etc. Since Chris Boyd left the coaches have insisted he become a first up battering ram runner which he simply is not. Even John Plumtree decided he was a lock and then Jason Holland decided that he was just the number three blindside at the Hurricanes. Little wonder that he no longer continues to exhibit the style of play that excited us so long ago.
