The dates for the two Bledisloe Cup Tests in New Zealand have been confirmed by New Zealand Rugby (NZR), with the All Blacks to play the Wallabies at Wellington's Sky Stadium on Sunday 11 October and a week later at Eden Park in Auckland on Sunday 18 October.
3:30 pm kick off.

EDIT: Hotel booked for Sat night, now just need to get some tickets!

For those that weren't bothered to read the allblacks.com article this was the other main news.
Robinson said confirmation of the Bledisloe Cup dates meant there would be a change to the Mitre 10 Cup schedule for both Bledisloe Cup weekends, and NZR would be working with provincial unions regarding these changes.
There are 3 games on Sundays so all will need to be moved to avoid clashes. Also, Wellington and Auckland have home NPC games the day before the Oct 11 and Oct 18 tests.

Any idea on when this will be announced?

I wonder who the refs for the BC series will be, taking into account the quarantine restrictions in both countries? If they use SA/UK/French refs they will need to arrive early and maybe officiate in some M10 Cup games before the 2 NZ tests.
Perhaps it will end up being NZ refs in NZ and Aust refs in Aussie if WR permits. The joys of a covid world.

Dane Coles, not a wimp
I hear him!
This may be obvious but is good to hear:
"NZ Rugby do it really well making sure our families back home are looked after and we have got good support and that makes it a bit easier."

@Bones I'm old school bro and proud of the sacrifices that the old boys made.
I'm up for the brickbats to be hurled in my direction but a month away, in fine style is hardly something to get the tissues out for and not an unreasonable work sacrifice as we gush over the proud privilege sentiments of being selected that we got a week or so ago.
I know it's a different time but it's all rather over done in my opinion. These guys are coddled too much I reckon.
Plenty of men would and do, undertake a few months away to provide for their families with out the "prestige" of representing the jersey.
Fire away pussies!!π

@Siam sure, I'm just not sure what was wrong with what DC said. Are you saying there wasn't any support given in your "old school" days by nzru and that made those gorgeous studs the manly men they were?
Heck even my company supports me when I go on long trips by paying for the missus to come too. I am a big girls blouse though.

@Bones nah I didn't read any of itπ
Just got my dander up imagining that some weren't going to play and stay at home.
Then the comment about support for families seemed too touchy feely ( might be other families more in need of support) and then that deeply seated rant came out.
It's all bollocks and "nothing to see here" but I've made my bed so will have to double down for the next day or two, then skulk off denying it all - as is the tradition on the fernπ₯΄ππ
