@Yeetyaah did they show that angle?

I didnt see any other angles, but it certainly appeared something not quite legal must have happened under there.

To my eyes the ball was short, but Goodhue off his feet so another penalty.Sad to say these incorrect calls at this part of the game are common place, players not supporting their bodies, but the human error factor of referees unfortunately cost teams big time.
Really all you can say is bad luck Chiefs for two weeks on end ,.....beat the Crusaders next week and hopefully all will be forgotten!

Funny how the laws have changed,Back in the day hands weren’t allowed in the rucks and now no rucking allowed. That last charge at the line yesterday by the Chiefs in older days would have had skin flying in all directions, finishing up with an all in brawl.A very sedate game now at breakdown!

Just been watching the game. At the ground, it seemed like the Blues got the poo end of the stick pretty frequently. Re-watching, it's just as brutal ...some weird interpretations about supporting bodyweight, not rolling, etc. It's just a bit frustrating really.

You know the ref has been average when both sets of fans are grizzling.

yeah, the last call was baffling, but given what led up to it my sympathy levels have drastically reduced.

As @tim said I think - suck it up and get better πŸ™‚

@Virgil would be destroying a TV every week if he was a Chiefs fan under the Gatland regime.

A few thoughts after a rewatch.
GCT had a very good game but he is pretty similar to Patrick Tuipolutu. They are not complementary at all. With Robinson out with injury, the Blues don't try to disrupt the opposition's lineout as they did in the first round of the competition. So, despite their small size, the Chiefs forwards won their own throws and put a lot of pressure on their Blues opponents, thanks to the quality of their possession. Maybe it is time to try another combination. Pierce fared very well during the SA tour. He is a tall guy who can jump. He has to be given his chance.
