always remember Zinny putting in a monster hit late and off the ball in 1996/1997 bledisloe in Dunedin. Superb.

Knox and Gregan were bloody good together. Knox squeezed every ounce out of his talent.

Edit: 1997. Cullen scored his try. Iw as on the terraces on the wrong 22 as 55 points got scored at the other end of the park. 29-0 became 29-26

I don’t reckon so, it’s just his melon made everything else look out of proportion.

I’m not sure how he and Zinny ever took the field in the same match without adversely altering the earth’s gravitational pull to be honest

Actually Finnegan was known as 'Ogre' not melon.

Did have a big nut on him though.

EDIT: apparently also 'Melon'. Was definitely 'Ogre' around the players in ACT in the time.
