    @taniwharugby I think 15 years - 2005 Blues v Canes at Eden Park was the last regular season crowd in NZ higher.

    Yes, the article says it was Umaga's 100th match for the Canes.

    I'm also surprised that the Hurricanes have won the last 5 games in Auckland.

    I'm not. We were excellent and the Blues have been poor. It took us 10 years to win for the first time at EP though, making up for lost time

    One of them was that horror show loss in the last minute that started the slide with Lam. Goddamn.

    @Canes4life A 6:2 split on the bench ... 🤔

    Ardie to 2nd 5

    In my opinion, the Ardie/Messam midfield is the greatest midfield I've ever.....imagined.

    Hey hey come up with your own material.

    Scott Barrett to blindside. Oh wait....

    @Winger I think the Hurricanes need to stay in this one for 50 minutes. If they can do that, then bringing on the likes of Fifita, Aumua, Savea, Fidow & Walker-Leawere is definitely match-winning firepower, whereas the Blues look a bit meh off the bench.

    Not much use having all that firepower on the bench if you are 30 points down when you bring them on with thrity minutes to play!. Incidentally Fifita being dumped for Princep seems to inddicate a massive fall in the pecking order at the Hurricanes for him.

    @Higgins I hope these tactics pay off. If the Canes win it will be a masterstroke, I guess the proof will be in the pudding tomorrow. I can't wait.

    @nzzp Caused by Piri Weepu helping his old team out by kicking the ball away with a minute to go which led to the Canes snatching it.

    @Canes4life

    The Blues' problems against other NZ teams in recent seasons have being winning away from home. They have won the odd game in Auckland.
