Hurricanes v Sunwolves

@African-Monkey were they? They were second favourites at the TAB when the season kicked off.

@sparky also we have Coles and Barrett to come back aswell.
My view on the Canes atm is mostly a positive one. We have a strong set piece (about time), we seem to have game breakers right across the park and the players look to be enjoying their work. My worry is obviously at 10 and if we get any further injuries to key players like Perenara or Lomax then we could be in trouble. I also think because we have so many X factor players, we are tending to push the pass a tad too much, hopefully we can find some patience moving forward.
The next three weeks will be a good gauge of where this side is at. I expect the Canes to get the job done at home next week, but I am obviously weary about our trips away to the Chiefs and Crusaders following that. Winning 2/3 will be a great result IMO.

No one said that.
This Hurricanes squad is nowhere near as good as those of 2015 or 2016. But I don't think that we'll finish last in the NZ Conference any more. π

Not the reds in the first round.

Its hard to judge players in a game like this. But
-The new front row combination looked VG
-Kirifi has stepped up this year in the absence of Savea
-Fletcher Smith had a better game. Although that's not saying much as he was awful in his previous 1st5 starts so I will change this to he looked better than OK. The test will be next week but maybe its his head that needs sorting out (don't throw crazy panicky passes when in tough situations) not lack of ability. But I worry he may be a weakness still in tougher matches. and Marshall looks too flaky for 1st
-Aso was very good. Excellent game at center. As long as he can defend and do this consistently he will retain his preferred spot
-Laumape needs to stop the silly mistakes if he wants to retain his AB spot
-Kobus Van Wyk was VG
-Jonathan Taumateine looks promising
-Chase Tiatia will just make up the number unless there are injuries -
Time to stop all this nicey nicey giving SA wingers a chance in a Kiwi Franchise shit
Yes Van Wyk did well. But I.m done with giving others a helping hand over NZers.
Fuck that shit.
We.re losing our intellectual property hand over fist - and no-0ne seems to give a rats arse about that. Well, quid pro quo.
